That is an excellent question. If you find the answer let me know. It seems to me that He is limited by His own rules of engagement, at least to some extent under certain circumstances. There must be help that He won't provide without being asked. There must be help He can not provide under the rules of His justice that he can't provide unless the person or group of persons (church) are in the right circumstances or conditions or state of holiness. A similar question in my mind is will there be people who will be lost who had we witnessed to them would have been saved? Is it possible that we are sentencing some person around us today to eternal death by not witnessing to them? Or is it true that God never allows anyone's eternal destiny to be determined by the fault of inaction on the part of another human?

Yeah, but that's if there was a deity to start with, which there isn't.
But suppose it's the contrary. Deities are disabled by prayer/worship. Makes you reconsider, doesn't it? That's a plethora of new horizons to me. Hey, people who pray! What if you're damaging your deity when you pray? Would you stop, to give it a chance, or would you pray so that it got better? Ah, Hell, strange people.

First the church tells you GOD is all powerful. Then a few sermons later they preach that GOD is saddened by this, that or the other. GOD can not be disabled, saddened, insulted, affected, altered in any way. You want to curse GOD? You want to not acknowledge GOD? Be GOD'S guest. Only you can be hurt. To think you could affect GOD is to say you believe you are more powerful.
