Would it make any difference in the way you treated other people, for better or worse, if you were aware of the fact that there is no creator?

I often question Christian's testimonies and every story was exaggerated and it all ended up being just a story they didn't understand

Not why you're ignorant, but why do you enjoy hanging around Christians? I thought you guys didn't like being around Christians.

Wouldn't you rather be out drinking yourself into a stupor, or bedding down with some skank?

You say you want us to leave you alone, why don't you demonstrate to us how you want to be left alone by leaving this site?

Remember that day a month or two ago when all illegals said they were going to boycott all gringos? That was the neatest day I've had since the 60's, no lines at Wal-Mart, everybody everywhere spoke English. Yeah, gimme more days like that.

What if we could have a day without atheists. Think about it, nobody flipping anybody off in traffic, no murders, no robberies, no muggings, no lying politicians, no IRS agents (oh, I already said no mugings and robberies).

Not personal saying they don't, hope everyone that deserves it does. Even the athiest. But I've noticed some wierd things in the bible. In numbers I believe it talks about rape. Out of like 8 scenario's the woman gets stoned and the 1 that she doesn't the guy has to give her father like a goat. Seems one sided. Also when Jesus came back from hell mary magalon was first to find him. Jesus told her leave me be woman and find my brothers. Seems a little harsh like he learned something. I would have been happy to see anyone. There is also a painting showing nothing but women in hell, it shows saints how to ascent to heaven or descent to hell. Doesn't seem like much thought is put into females for some reason.

Jesus taught that we were to obey the law of the people, or obey the law of the land. Jesus was a wanted criminal. Judas simply did his civic duty by informing the peace officers in his town where a wanted crimial was being harbored. So technically Jesus asked Judas to do what he did. Why do people consider him to be the betrayer of Christ, when he abided by Christ's own teachings?

Really, its philosophy sounds so much more appealing than the more "western" religions.. It doesn' tell me that its the " Right" religion and everyone else is just mistaken, it doesn't force me to believe in a supernatural power ( whether the name is God, Allah or Jehova) that apparently only loves me if I follow its rules and beliefs, you rarely hear of a buddhist monk going on crusades or jihad to convert the "non-believers" ....
Opinions?

Why do some Christians believe that "God is in the driver's seat and we are just along for the ride?" Thinking logically, that would mean we are but pawns (which equates to no relationship...God playing with we, His dolls). God makes us go here and say this, etc. If this is true, then when we sin, is it not God that is making us sin? Wouldn't a better way to see it be that we are in our driver's seat, and God is reading us the map? Giving us direction on how to get to our destination, but our actions and the roads we take are in our own hands? Please logically defend the premise that God controls our lives.
