You got it backwards your evil because you want to do all those things and say it's ok.
We on the other hand have a morality that says it is wrong.

If you're suggesting that everyone who identifies with the Christian faith beats, tortures, and kills someone else just to repent, then you've created a straw man.
But I can see where someone might think it's ironic that people are grateful that Jesus was put through hell just for them. I guess it goes back to the idea that Jesus did it willingly so that all mankind could be spared. I don't mean to sound like I'm preaching, but that tends to be the belief in most churches.

Nobody counterfeits a 2 dollar bill. There are so many "counterfeit" Christians in the world. Many call themselves Christians, but are not. Which leads to much confusion and hypocracy.
True Christians have good works following them. This is not a "Christian" country. The Bible says not to kill. Simple as that. The U.S. should not even have a military if it were a true Christian country.

To "repent" and then go off and, without remorse or restraint, do all the stuff you repented of is really not to have repented at all. Repentance means that you change your mind about all the bad stuff you've done -- you acknowledge all that wrongdoing to be sin, and you turn away from it. That's turning from evil to good.

People are evil because they are evil.
they may try to find loopholes in their religion to rid them of their guilt.
No mater how many times you say some prayer or flail yourself or proclaim your self saved no person on earth can give you the pass to salvation
Only in the end will you find out.
God does not need your money.
God does not need you to kill.
God only wants your attention.

We aren't happy that Jesus died in such a horrible way. We are happy that he was courageous and loving enough to die so that we may have forgiveness for our sins. We don't kill because God says "Thou Shalt NOT KILL!!!!" Plain and simple.
And we only want people to repent(it doesn't mean you have to be a Christian but you can be in another group that worships God.) because we don't want people go have to suffer in hell. Invision yourself in Hell and see if you want to live a horrible life.

Are you asking? This sound more like a statement.
I agree that the things Christ experienced were horrific. It was however his choice to make this sacrifice out of love for his father and love for humans.
It was not his choice to die in such a painful and degrading way. Humans did that - and that's not gratitude - you are right.

if you think that's why people become Christians, then you have a long way to go, brother...people do evil things already...people become Christians to become better people, to learn to love others as themselves, to serve God, to have a personal relationship with their Creator...if you have ever gone to a Christian church for a Good Friday service, and saw the hurt and pain in the eyes of Christians remembering that Christ went through terrible suffering and agony for our sake, you might understand that Christ's suffering is not an occasion to remember with celebration...i can tell you for myself, it is painful because, in a very real sense, I myself 'killed Christ'...my sins were enough, and His love for me was enough, for Him to endure that suffering...the celebrating, and the promise of a home in heaven, are based upon Christ's triumph over the cross and death itself...anyone can die, but only Christ has faced death and walked away from it in power and love...
