IF YOU DON'T READ THE BIBLE OF COURSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW, SOMEBODY JUST TOLD ME THAT CHRISTIANS HAVE WAITED FOR THE RAPTURE AND SECOND COMING FOR TWO THOUSAND YEARS AND IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET.

Well actually the second coming and rapture couldn't have happened until after the year 2000... i know this for a fact and can prove to you that the rapture can only occur after the year 2000, test me and i'll tell you what the book of daniel means and the book of revelation....Most non-beleivers don't even know what the rapture is...

I think it's easier not to believe for these reasons:
You have logic and science to contradict a lot of it. And you use science and logic in every aspect of your life, but religion. And it was written by men who believed the earth was flat and dragons were real. But it's hard to actually believe and have faith and disregard science and logic. My wife believes big time. I believe in God, but not a lot of the Bible. Men wrote that. Say that it's God's word all you want. Men still wrote it. Anyway....that's my take on it. What's yours? And what's easier?

Demonic possession and mental illness seem to mirror each other in terms of symptoms. IF it were to become an issue-how would one know the difference? Is it a matter of faith alone? Meaning, if the person believed themselves to be possessed, would that make the possession real?

This is a general question and not aimed at anyone imparticular. I've recently read the "real" case of Emily Rose in addition to a book someone purchased for me in Salem, MA on possession. It's just a really interesting topic and wanted the take of others.

Ok, my grandmother says that the devil will do everything he can to keep you out of church and to keep you from serving the Lord. I told her that I reckon that he's going the extra mile for me. Let me explain: When I was growing up my father (more my father) and my mother were alcoholics and drugatics and we were very poor (didn't have running water, electricity, heat, a bed...). Every Sunday my grandpa would take me to church, but every Sunday during service my stomach would hurt me so bad that I would have to leave sometimes. Then my grandparents got sick and I stopped going. Many people have died in my life, including my dad. To this day, my stomach still hurts every time I go to church. My grandma says that it is because I have a great calling in my life. What do you think? Another thing, do you believe in being prophesied to? I ask this because many different preachers have told me that I will be one when I get older ( I'm 17 now) and one even brought up a dream that I had when I was younger about teaching a sunday school class to little children....I couldn't believe he knew about it because he was a traveling preacher. So, again..do you believe in prophecy?

As a Christian, I have a great appreciation toward nature. I see God in everything, in my dog, in the trees, in children. In every creature, plant, whatever he created. When I see it I get this spiritual feeling inside me.

Are you like that too?

Me and a few friends have the same types of beliefs in Witchcraft. If you can give me a bunch of different witchcraft related religions and a description of basic beliefs that would be great. If you want more information on our beliefs, since beliefs are often hard to explain, please just message me and ask questions, instead of just saying "I need more information on your beliefs." Thanks

Honestly, I'd like to know how a straight person could know what it's like to be gay? Was there a point in everyone's life where the straight bus stopped and we all just forgot to get on? With all the research out there pointing towards genes and biological factors, the only arguement they can come up with is it's a sin. Well ya know what, not everyone believes in god or the bible, so why do they feel the need to cram it in our face?

The bible also tells them not to judge and to love thy fellow man. Apparently they missed that part because they were so focused on the part that talked about homosexuals. And as far as I knew, the bible only speaks of homosexuality as being wrong in the pretense of sexual misconduct, not being wrong between two loving consenting adults.

So I ask, how do the bible thumpers have more expertise on gayness then gay people do? Unless they're just deeply closeted?

In physics, M-theory (sometimes reffered to as U-theory) is put forward as the master theory that unifies the five superstring theories. Although M-theory is already well established among the physics community, it still lacks the critical understanding that is regarded as key importance in all major physical theories.
