Mock it now, but tremble when it comes! All true Christians will be raptured and ascend immediately to Heaven to be with Lord Jesus Christ! All humble, honest, charitable Christians who love their neighbors as themselves will leave their earthly bodies and leave the rest of humanity behind. All Christians who turn the other cheek when they feel offended and refuse to judgmentally cast the first stone will no longer be here. Will the world notice? How could it not notice when the Rapture comes and all of these true Christians suddenly rise up the skies?!? We'll miss both of the true Christians when the time comes. Won't we?

Uh yeah! I mean hundreds of thousands of people being raptured! Raptured means to be taken up to heaven with Jesus. It could happen at any time. The rapture is a point when all Christians will go up to heaven while all the others will go through plague, earthquakes, tsunamis, and many disasters. Afterward the people who were raptured will come back to a brand new Earth and will have a period of 1,000 years of no war or disease. I think the World will notice!

If the rapture happens the way many believe, that all believers will be caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air then yes, the world would have to notice if suddenly a large chunk of the population is gone (and not paying taxes and buying gas *gasp!*)
Some believe its a spiritual catching away, in that respect no one but the person it happens to will notice.

If the rapture actually happens, I can't see how people wouldn't notice. There would be total chaos. If a truck driver is raptured, the truck crashes...children in schools will suddenly vanish...
If millions suddenly dissappeared, everyone left behind will notice. Trust me.
God bless!

WHAT A GREAT QUESTION!!!! Please allow me to speculate on page. (Remember, this is just a mental exercise for me based on what the scriptures foretell. This is not to be used to say that I am saying WHEN this will happen but what I believe will happen.
OH YEAH! THE WORLD WILL NOTICE. Let me tell you why. Let us assume for a minute it is 2010 and wars and rumors of wars are more numerous. There are more earthquakes and tsunamis around the world that cannot be explained. Scientists will notice meteors of unbelievable sizes in our galaxy heading in our direction.
And then, without warning: (well almost no warning----see paragraph above)
Every child in the world up to the age of 12 (what Christians believe is the age of accountability) disappears. Parents are missing children and nurseries are missing newborns. Pregnant women around the world find out they are no longer pregnant (because contrary to popular belief---life begins at conception.) Lawsuits abound against OB/GYN physicians because of their "wrong diagnosises" and their medical malpractice. World wide unemployment becomes a problem because there are no children to teach, every teacher becomes unemployed in elementary schools around the world----no cafeteria workers needed in elementary schools, no bus drivers needed for elementary schools, all day care center owners/operators unemployed, all pediatricians unemployed if their practice does not extend past 12 years old children. No need to buy toys for toddlers so the creators of childrens toys are out of business----no diapers, johnson's baby oil, pampers, anbesol for teething. (Now this is just because the children are gone.)
Let's continue---airplanes will fall out of the sky because Christian pilots were assigned with one another (except British airways that requires only one Christian in the cockpit.) If you happen to be on a cruise ship you better hope you aren't one of those on the K-Love cruise in January---cos you may be the only one or one of a handful of people who do not believe when the trumpet sounds.
Lets assume that you have comprehended the loss of every child in the world---assume you comprehend the mass mental depression that will overwhelm the nations and countries of the world when the children are gone---but the bible goes on to speak of two people being in the field together---one will be taken and the other left---two people will be sleeping---one will be taken and the other left. Two people will be milling and one will be taken and the other left. Let us assume that Christians are driving cars down the highway----and the rapture occurs. How many people will die when the cars begin to crash into occupied vehicles?
Will the world notice? How will it NOT----BUT if we are wrong---we don't have anything to worry about. If YOU are wrong----when will you STOP WORRYING?

Yes and everybody who wastes time of other ppl are stupid! The world will notice cause there will be ppl all over the world disappearing. Lets just say if the pilot of a plane is a Christain and Jesus comes back the plane will crash unless someone who isn't a christain takes control. So yes everyone will notice!

The rapture exists only in the minds of the people waiting and hoping for it. You can relax.

I don't believe in the rapture.
However-I did have this really strange dream not too long ago about looking up in the sky and seeing this large orb type thing (it looked like a giant pearl). In my dream, I said to someone, "Is that the moon?" I don't know who answered me but they said, "No, it's God."
Really strange. I woke up feeling really happy and at peace.
Sounds crazy but it's true.

That is a debatable issue among Christians... I am of the opinion that the world will indeed notice... many of the non-belivers will know exactly what has occured. This will drive them to the AntiChrist which is where He will find his chief henchmen...The ones who know for certain that they are condemed.
