As a Christian, I have a great appreciation toward nature. I see God in everything, in my dog, in the trees, in children. In every creature, plant, whatever he created. When I see it I get this spiritual feeling inside me.

Are you like that too?

Amen!!!

Yes, I am completely like that. The moon especially has a spiritual effect on me..I don't know why. Just to think that when you step outside and see these awesome, swaying trees, they are the products of God's creation. The sunset is another token of God's love towards us. The squirrels scampering up trees...bees pollinating flowers and plants because God has given them the instincts to know to do it...

Amazing.

God bless!

You don't have to be a Christian to appreciate the power of the Spirit that Moves Through All Things. The oneness you describe is no less real for me because I do not consider myself Christian. In fact, having devoted a large portion of my life to understanding the complexities of the natural world, observing the natural world, and advocating real solutions for difficult human and environmental problems, I feel that my connection is stronger than most people's. I did not come by my spirit name lightly.

Love and reverence are 2 completely different things. You can distance yourself from something you revere, but to love it is to make it part of your soul, tend it, and care for it. Think about that..

Prove your love by taking your sentiment to the next level- do your part to find ways towards a sustainable future for all Earth's inhabitants. We don't have very long. Oh yeah- be tolerant of other people's views, too.

Of course I see the natural world as an expression of God's love and care for us. It is like walking through His Museum of Art.
Peace Be With You,

Yes I am. In fact I am going up to the Grand Mesa (in western Colorado) tomorrow just to sit in the beautiful pine forest and commune with nature and God....so spiritually fullfilling.

Do you support the slaughter of animals for food?
If God is in the animal, then God suffers the blows.

Take it to the next level!

absolutely...His creation is overwhelming in its beauty, complexity, interdependence...i love to be out in the woods or the mountains or out on the water...or just looking up into the night sky looking at all the stars and marveling at the vast distances they are from me and each other...it's truly amazing...the only time i feel closer to god is when i'm spending time with my kids...i look at them, listen to them, hold them, and i think 'of all of God's creation, these are the jewels in the crown...'

It's a concept known as "pantheism," and it is not unique to Christianity.
