In the bible it says that God gave us the sign of the rainbow to show that he'd never drown the earth like that again...but I think that the rainbow was the sign of the first 'rain' there ever was...is it possible that The Noahs Arch flood was the First rainfall in history???...so the reason why there wasn't a rainbow before is because there wasn't any rain casted on earth before Noahs flood....

Mine was whether or not my blood sister really loved her husband or not, so she wanted me to marry him istead because she was listening to shaiton's whispers (to divorce him)......... but I could not do it (marry her husband) because I made dua for her and him to never part. So anyways..........she passed Allah's test alhamdidallah!, and she decided not to leave him. Allah has things happen for a reason, and he does what he pleases, and we cannot change Allah's destiny.

In an upstairs room a parable is just about to come alive; and while they bicker about who is best, with a painful glance He'll silently rise; their Savior's servant must show them how through the will of the water and the tenderness of the "towel." The call is to community, the improverished power that sets the soul free. In humility you take the vow that day after day you must take up the basin and the towel. In any ordinary place; in any ordinary day, the parable can live again when one will kneel and one will yield. Our Savior's servant will show us how with through the will of the water and the tenderness of the towel. by the fragile bridge of the servant's vow, we take up the basin and the towel. In Humility we take the vow that day after day we must take up the basin and the towel.

im a born-again Christian, and for those who still are stubborn, God exists. we can also say that the sun doesn't exist, since it is so bright, we can only see the light it gives off. how do we know the sun exists then? the reasons why God hasn't "proven" Himself to others (He did, in nature, in the universe) is because those people just don't want to know Him. God says those who truly seek Him will know Him in all of His glory. you don't know God because you don't want to know Him. He stil loves you. No matter what you do, He will always love you--regardless of what you believe or what kind of person you are or what kind of sins you commit. John 3:16 says He loves the whole world. He died for our sins. He suffered our pain. He died our death. Those people who just can't get it through your head that God exists, then you are stupid. You are too stubborn to acknowledge His existence, so Jesus said that since you deny Him, He will deny you to God. Matthew 10:33. Amen.

Is the book of Revelation pertinent today. Was it just an inspiration for Christians of the 1st century AD in Asia Minor to deal with the Roman's prosecution; shield themselves from the cult of worshipping the Emperors? Emperor Domitian who banished John to Patmos was believed to be the reincarnation of Nero hence 666.

If so, how do you balance your religious beliefs and your sexuality?
I honestly have no problem with the gay community but I know there is a big anti gay undertone in most religions. How do you deal with both.

Please no rude answers. I just want to try to see from another persons point of view.

Being straight isn't a choice, but that doesn't mean you can have sex with whomever you want. Many people have used animal behavior to justify homosexual behavior, but such an argument would never make sense in the context of infidelity or sexual promiscuity. Unlike animals, humans are supposed to be accountable for their actions and be able to control their desires. Also, in the hedonistic culture of ancient Rome, where homosexuality was considered the norm, everyone was engaging in it. The Romans couldn't possibly have all been "gay", which shows that many people would engage in same sex behaviour if their society encouraged it.

The Nazarene was sent to live the life of every man, and he felt the fascination of the stars. He came; He saw; He surrendered all so that we might be born again. And the fact of his humanity was there for all to see. But he was ulike any other man, and---yet--so much like me.

I deleted a similar question because all the answers though nice were not even relevant.

Im looking for sidebyside comparison of verses from different bible versions.
The closest of the original question would only do one bible at a time. Another one would only do a small choice set of verses.

All the other answeres were soley decent sites for invidual research and not even related to the question.
Im looking for what I have seen in the recent past but cant remember what it is was called and it was FREE and dos based.

I remmber that it was about 5 years ago and was then a very popular pgm and easy to use , and in fact is the reason I dont care about NIV.
