Non-Christian means you don't worship God. Satanist means you do worship Satan. Just beacuse you believe in God doesn't make you a Christian (even Satan believes in God and cowers, according to the Bible). So, can you woship Satan and not be a Christian?
Well, anyone that does worship Satan (Satanist) is obviously not a Christian (follower of Christ).
You can believe in God and Satan at the same time. I am a Christian and I believe in Satan, I just don't worship him. In the same way, someone can be a Satanist and believe in God and not worship Him.

The term "satan" has been around long before christianity. It means: Adversary, One with a strong will, One that questions what others beleive as norm. So that is why they call theirselves Satanists. They do not worship christianity's character satan. They worship themselves first and foremost, and nature and natural forces. They embrace everything it means to be a natural human mammal.

At least half of Satanists are athiest. Not believing in any god whatsoever, and alot have gods and goddesses that they believe in.
You don't have to believe in anything or unbeleive in anything to be a Satanist. You must only respect yourself, the Earth, and those who respect you.

Well, there are Satanists and then there are Satanists. People who belong to the so-called Church of Satan, for example, aren't really devil worshippers but are actually atheists who have a totally self-indulgent, "me first and let the strongest survive" code of morality. They see Satan more as a concept embodying self-indulgence and utter moral freedom. And then there are the actual Satanists who worship the devil for some strange reason, but they aren't Christians because, even if they believe in Jesus, they haven't accepted him as Lord and Savior (which is really scary when you think about it, as believing but not repenting is the mark of demons).

No, it just means they have a different concept of Satan than the Christian concept. Real Satanists who actually do worship Satan and believe in him see him as the god of THIS creation. In that theology, he is a morally neutral sub god, but the only one that matters because he owns us all and will be the one we deal with after death.

that's true; there's no "satan" outside of the christian religion. But the very term satanist would only be said by christians, so you'd just call whomever you pray to god. Like, some people actually have alters for michael jordan the basketball player, and that could be construed by a christian as praying to the false god, so jordan would be satan in their eyes.

I believe all non christians are satanist, you either have the love of the Lord in your heart or you are a follower of satin. We all have a life long struggle with satan, but if you believe in the Lord he is always there to help us say no!!!!! Get thee behind me satan.
Yes God does answer prayer, just because its not the answer you want ,doesn't mean he didn't answer. You put your life in Gods hands, he'll guide you.
Yes, I am a christain and I don't always get the answer I want.

it is possible. satanists worship the principle, not an actual deity or being. satan means adversary or accuser; he is a rebel and self indulgent.

"It is important to realize that the Satan that they recognize has few if any points of similarity with the historical Muslim or Christian concept of Satan. " from religioustolerance link below

Anyone can be a satanist. A "Christian" believes in Jesus Christ. A Jew does not. They both believe there is a Satan.
