Not why you're ignorant, but why do you enjoy hanging around Christians? I thought you guys didn't like being around Christians.
Wouldn't you rather be out drinking yourself into a stupor, or bedding down with some skank?
You say you want us to leave you alone, why don't you demonstrate to us how you want to be left alone by leaving this site?
Remember that day a month or two ago when all illegals said they were going to boycott all gringos? That was the neatest day I've had since the 60's, no lines at Wal-Mart, everybody everywhere spoke English. Yeah, gimme more days like that.
What if we could have a day without atheists. Think about it, nobody flipping anybody off in traffic, no murders, no robberies, no muggings, no lying politicians, no IRS agents (oh, I already said no mugings and robberies).

Um, is this a question, or a sermon??? And by the bye, I've been flipped off, cut off and cursed at by more Christians than by followers of any other faith. They seem to think they can do anything, because they know that if they pray about it they'll be forgiven later. (?) By the way, when you've been flipped off in traffic, was it because of your driving while staring at the sky waiting for the Rapture? Did you bother to ask those people if they were atheists, otherwise how do you know they were?
The Christians AND Atheists, along with the Wicca, Buddhists, Muslims and Jews I know are alike the most sensible, compassionate, think-before-you-speak people I've ever met. Then again, I'm Unitarian Universalist, and most of the poeple at my church are like that...
Yeah, the ones online are a little loopy, but it's pretty much a given in an online forum. I mean, who with a completely full life, with no spare time, have you seen on here?

I would have thought a day (or lifetime) without some christians would be more beneficial to the human race. No more hatred, judging, hypocrisy. Frankly, how you can link murders, robberies, muggins, politicians directly to atheism is beyond me.
As a human, just be more tolerant of other people. (beliefs aside). Also, don't judge or stereotype people.
We won't leave this site, as it is for everyone. You could learn quite a few lessons from people on here from all walks of life. If you have a problem with it, then YOU leave the site. I'm sure you and biased views won't be missed!

I'm an atheist and I'm married to a christian so I am always around christians. I have no problem with individuals.. people can choose any belief they wish..we have freedom of choice. I will never tell another their choice is wrong.
I have studied comparative religions and i like the the subject; also I see no where does this say it is a christian only board.. it is named Religion and Spirituality.
As far as no lying politicians.. remember Bush claims to be a christian not an atheist....

This question has been asked over and over and over again and normally I don't respond to this questions but since you made such a weak and stupid statement, I felt I had to respond.
Speaking for only me, but I have no issue hanging around christians. I just feel that you've been brainwashed by your parents and society. I am saying this as a recovered christian.
I don't drink and I've been happily married for over 20 years now.
I stay on this site to assist those people who are looking for answers on atheism.
If I follow your rather weak and warped logic, only atheists kill and rob people. Only atheists are politicians (bet George W Bush would disagree) So no one was killed during that that whole Crusades thing. Joseph Smith was killed by a bunch of atheists. I dont claim to be a christian but I can tell by youre comments that you are not a christian. This sight is for everyone not just christians. Personaly I might listen to youre christain bull crap if I thought you was actualy a christain or if the christians on here werent so borring I mean who actualy has time to read all the stuff you guys write. Just get to the point. Realy the christians on here realy get on my nerves because they arent realy christians. True christians love everyone even athiests just like god tell us. Read the bible god didnt say anywhere in the bible that people that dont believe in him or have the same beliefs as him should be kicked off the face of the earth the bible says for you to love everyone so do you realy think what you just said was very christian like. I didnt think so. You need to go to church and ask for fo forgiveness for being so hatefull. To me people like you are no worse than racists. actualy come to think of it thats kinda what youre doing. You're simply wrong, both morally and factually, with this "question".
The vast majority of murderers, robbers, muggers, lying politicians, IRS agents, and yes, people flipping people off in traffic are people who believe in god. So are the vast majority of people who drink themselves into a stupor and who bed down with some skank.

Are you assuming religious people DON'T rob, cheat, kill, flip others off in traffic mug or lie?
What world are you living in? I find Christians to be WORSE than non-Christians any and every day of the week.
And oh, and if you're wanting to talk, what about all the religious bigots who swear they're against gay people are ALWAYS in the GLBT section? Perhaps they're trying to convert YOU and some so-called Christians try to convert US

They feel it's the only place where they can voice out what they think without the sense of insecurity. People who hear don't even know who you really are. And like some already said, you are sounding a bit ignorant yourself. Ignorance is not the key to persuasion. You can say to some evolutionist: EVOLUTION IS WRONG YOU WEIRDO. Would they believe you? You should leave, if you can't accept atheist view. Whether you like it or not this is a free "forum" for all to ask questions and answer any questions that you might have. Its a freedom of speech at its best! If you can't accept our view graciously like how we respect your belief, well f***-off.
By the way, the biggest lying politician in US right now is a very devoted Christian. I believe he said that "God told me to invade Iraq. And I do!" in a national television.

Well, they can't leave and go to an athiest site because, where's the fun in that? They would rather sit and bash other people for what they believe. Now, I am a Christian, yet, I don't bash athiests. I pray for them because they won't know the truth until it's too late. Unfortunately, our free country takes their liberties too far. I believe in freedom of speech, however, I try to use my freedom so that I don't hurt other people. Satan doesn't have to do the dirty work because he has the athiests and leads them by the nose. If they want to be led by the nose, that's their problem. We just have to pray for their souls cause their not.
