Soul is not a physical object which could be found or lost.And in the final analysis there is no difference in your soul and my soul.Both are drops out of the ocean of the Great Soul(Param Atma) and after undergoing the indidual exposure to the cycle of birth and deaths both are going to merge with that ocean.
On the mundane plane you are supposed to have established contact with another kindred soul if you action/inactions satisfy/disatisfy the other soul. Even animals have souls and if you harass them their souls may curse you.
So beware.

The soul is actually the mind, will, and emotions of a person. The body houses this chemical electric person. The spirit is what links us with God and can only be brought to life through power of the Holy Spirit when one repents and believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazereth.
Three parts: Body, Soul, Spirit.

It is said the eyes are mirrors of the soul. When you look into the eyes of another your are looking into their soul. Some eyes are sad, others joyful, other pain filled, whatever you have a chance to see that is the soul you are seeing.

The soul is purely spiritual, so you wouldn't be able to find it with any physical instruments (I think). It's said, however, that the soul infuses our bodies entirely, so it's not located in any particular part of us but rather everywhere in us.

Soul. Translated from the greek word psuche, spelled psyche in english, it refers to that portion of our awareness/intellegence that arises from our biological flesh and blood brain.
The difficult thing is to discern between soul and spirit.
