George Bush became a political Christian after being defeated in an election.
But, he is as Christian as the pope, Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, or any other Christian. Christianity only requires a person claim to be a Christian, and he (or she) is. Nothing else required.

I didn't think this was an odd question until I saw the second question. What are you implying? That Hillary claims it but isn't one? Or they can't BOTH be one because they are so politically different? How strange. I personally don't find Georgie Boy to be someone I would consider a "good" Christian, not by a long shot. But then, it isn't up to me is it? It can only be an opinion on my part and even having an opinion about it makes me uneasy. I shrink from questioning anyone's dedication to their religion, not my business.

I believe he is a Christian. 'Good'-now that may be debatable. He is President-therefore he represents all Americans, or at least all who will let him. So, he may say and do things that more benefit the masses than a few. He is not the greatest President we have ever had for sure. But he was the better choice-no contest. I voted for him-both times. And yes-I have been called more than a fool. I am not interested in what people think of me-I am interested in right and wrong.

We are to judge by the fruit, and I do not have a personal relationship with him to really know. Let God handle this one. Anyone making this call would be wrong in trying.
Everyone asked the same thing of Chuck Colson back in the 70s. The good news? Jesus knows His sheep, and He has not lost one of them.
lilly- A little clarification. It is the "peace makers" not the "peace keepers". To make peace, sometimes war is necessary. This was the error of Chamberlain with Hitler. He tried to be a peace keeper and Hitler gained a foothold in Europe. Britain and the U.S. then became the peace makers by defeating him in war.

I believe many men are sincere but their actions hardly show them to be a christian. The bible says, "Lord did I not prophecy in your name and expell demons in your name and I will confess to them I don't know you.get away from me you workers of lawlessness.
So they apartnely thought they were doing the right thing and they were't . However, it is supose to be seperation of church and state. A persons religion should have nothing to do with elections. or any other part of government. Everyone says they are a christian. That doesn't make it so.

A lot of people claim to be Christian. Fortunately it's not up to humans to decide who is and who isn't.

Did you have a question or do you just make dumb statements and then put a ? at the end.I can see you don't know what a Christian is,so I would suggest you try researching this topic.
