Yes they were justified. She was obviously disregarding every thing the officer told her. This is not the complete video, the officer was only going to write her a ticket until she got belligerent.

Don't believe what the so called cops tell you on this site and I was at the police station before when they were getting the tasers in my area.
This is what I heard.
Yeah they say we are going to be getting our tasers next week.
I know I cant wait...and we don't even need a reason top use them like our weapons.
You can thank the drunk drivers for all the recent strict laws on our books.
There was one case when a driver had 29 driving on a suspended license offenses until he killed someone with his vehicle.
Now your second offense is punishable by one year in jail.
Clearly this lady had broken some laws but I don't think that the police needed to tase her.....it just goes to show at the lack of training that police officers have in dealing with people.
And when she gets to court they will just push her throught the system to see what falls out.

Yes, she deserved it. Let me explain why.
1- the office was lawful in pulling her over, first for speeding, also for a broken windshield, no seat belt and a break light out.
2- She had an attitude from the very first moment. Criticized the officer and told him that he was unlawfully pulling her over. She was going 51 in a 35mph zone!!!
3- She was asked repeatedly to step out of the vehicle. The officer was nice and respectful to her.
4- Her license was suspended, so she shouldn't have been driving anyway.
5- She refused a direct order from the police officer. He warned her that if she didn't do what he said, he would taser her.
6- She escalated the situation by pulling away from the cop. At this point, he has to assume that he is in danger from her.
The fact that she called the cop racist, and said that her brother had been arrested for no reason put warning signs up for the cop. I would have done the same thing in this situation.

I saw this on TV before the first part was cut so short
the police had been asking her a lot longer than that shows to hang up the cell phone, put out the cigarette, and step out of the car, and here is a whole bunch of videos of people getting tased that not one of them carried on for such an extremely long time as your lady in your video

I am a cop and I here's what I have to say to you about it.
Those tasers, gas grenades, rubber bulltes, chemical sprays, etc... it's called less-than-lethal force. If we reserved these things for only deadly situations then there would be no reason to use them. That's why we carry firearms.
If there is a person who is being super beligerant and uncooperative, but does not threaten our safety to a lethal level, you need something that will make that person comply, but not injure or kill them. They serve a very important purpose.

She absolutely did not deserve that. The police are empowered to use force to protect the public safety. When they are interacting with someone who is not currently jeopardizing the public safety, the police lose the right to use force. Wearing a badge does not exempt you from argument, which is all this young woman is doing; unfortunately, we seem to be training a generation of cops who do not understand that.

This is what happens when you pay taxes "forced blaackmail" to a government of criminals under the guise of keeping the order and law. Which is a facade, untrue, unGodly and unnatural.
I feel bad for all the blackmailed folks in the world and that now we have to pay criminals to defend us from criminals. Noone is perfect at all, NOT EVEN THAAT COP, he is a sinner, I am you are, we all are so get off THE HIGH horse and quit hurting each other.

Whether you like it or not, you need to obey the cops, if you disagree with them, do it in the court room.
I think cops should shoot to kill folks that don't willingly follow their orders. So be glad that I'm not in charge.
Cops put their lives on the line to keep order. Respect them or move to the jungles, and live like a wild animal.
