I know i came to Jesus because I loved him,and i knew i could not get into heaven the way i was living,and when truth was revealed to me i was like SWEET,thank God he didn't allow me to die

Because my life was a complete mess and I had nowhere else to go. It was Jesus, or death through drug abuse. He saved me, even though I didn't love him.
He is faithfull, even when we are not.
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Most people come to Christ because their parents or family did.
You dont know Christ either. Its not possible..... He hasnt tread the Earth in more than two thousand years. The writings you have of him are that old and translated many times.
Incidentally... the Bible speaks highly of fearing God.
You might lighten up on your fellow Christians and get down off yer high horse.

Love. Despite acknowledging it's existance and the possibility of going there, I've never really feared Hell. Maybe it's because I feel so strongly that love is a greater part of who God is than retribution and punishment.

It has to be because you Love Jesus. What makes Hell so terrible is that it'll be eternal separation from Jesus! So to accept Jesus because you don't want to go to hell is not the right motive and remember Jesus knows our hearts...

I am religious person simply because it is the natural progression of what I believe to be right. I believe that we should be nice to people, care for our loved ones, and go the extra mile and help people in need. If this is defined as Christian, then I'm a Christian.

I love Jesus and that he died for my sins. Also having a relationship with Jesus has changed my life in may positive ways! That's about it, very simply stated!

I came to Him because I know that He is the only way to live a life that fulfills it's purpose. I can't ignore tho, that if I don't fulfill his purpose I will burn in the pit.

Started with fear of hell! But you must find Jesus to be saved! Can't find him w/out loving him!!!!
