I know the majority of you are itching to give a negative comment, but I'm just curious. So a simple yes or no would be nice. I ask this because I see a lot of comments about Jehovah's Witnesses that turn out to be false and disproven by information on the website and from actually speaking with one.

The website is as follows if you've never visited it:

I have. And you are right. A lot of things that are said about Witnesses are false. It's a great website. That's great that you go to the source to find answers instead of listening to misinformed people. I have been a Jehovah's Witness for 2 years now and it's crazy how many people you run into who have no clue about who we are and what we believe but they sure do think they have it all figured out! I commend you for your open mindedness and initiative.

Yes.

Something to consider: Speaking with one Jehovah witness, and then confirming how great they are on their website, is not considered a fair critique.

My question to you is if you've researched Jehovah witnesses from outside of their own propaganda circle. There's endless documentation. Maybe start here:

Now consider this: The North American Man-Boy Love Association....A.K.A, the Pedophile association.

Does their website make them look bad? Of course not. Sure, they're the most detestable stench of twisted evil I can think of. Visiting your website, you wouldn't know it.

Maybe re-think how you evaluate things, specifically on the web.

I am not a JW and yes I have been to the site and others they have. Watchout there are things on the JW sites that are incorrect as well. There was an issue where some information about blood transfusions appeared on that site which was incorrect.

Yes.

By the way, no matter how good they say their translation is, it is simply left out of the Oxford Bible commentary. I must add that this commentary is secular and is really aimed at Literature students. Their translation does not make sense.

I was there. . . Found the information (read lies) that I was looking for then left. I now have the information that I need to speak to those people who come to my door.

Yes, I have visited it to answer some questions I have had. My question was about the trinity, and it clearly explained to me all of what I felt and I am glad I investigated it.

what comments have you heard that have been false?
i believe they belief these things: the only time i have a problem with thier doctrine is when they say it is biblical.

no hell for anybody (unbiblical) God is love isn't he? they will say.

no deity of Christ (unbiblical) all right this can get confusing so i empathize with them

work for your salvation (unbiblical)
