entire bible, OT, NT & Apocrypha - from the Net and do their own searching using the search and find feature rather than wasting out time with their lazybones request? Don't they love their god enough?

If they can't afford computers, then what are they using to access Yahoo! Answers? Cell phones? GEEZUZ!

1. They don't read the Bible (Hardcopy or download)

2. They're looking for an arguement.

NOTE: For those who cannot afford a computer, they can buy a copy of a concordance for $5.95 and a King James Bible from Dollar General for $1.00 and find the answer to their every question.

They choose not to study God's word, but incite arguement from something they have heard or has popped into their non-Christian brain.

The comment about 'some people dont own computers' is really ignorant.

Havent you heard of internet cafe's or even the LIBRARY?

Both have computers available for use for free..and in some cases even rentable (for a fee).

But thats not the problem, people will support all bible varients even when the version is invalid (such as NIV) which has hundreds of verses that are the exact opposite of KJ and is proven to be 'not the word of god' by that alone.

Especially since there are verses that are used in non-NIV's that are used to teach people about good & evil yet the NIV verse says the exact opposite of the same verse in other versions.

Personally I use only KJ or older for 'detail' research and dont even allow bibles that are not KJ specific or are of a 'subjective' interpretation that is suspect.
Ie; too many are translating the bible into their own agenda instead of litteral.

Pure litteral translation is the only proper way, anything else might result in NIV type translation and hurt the future of the BIBLE.

Hello Michael - There must be enough interest in the subject, or Yahoo! Answers wouldn't have a Religion & Spirituality Section.

I think people ask for a few different reasons: (1) to find out who is aware of a biblical passage to feel a kinship with them; (2) to refresh people's memories of an important passage; and/or (3) to motivate people to look up or research a biblical passage that is of importance to the questioner. In nearly (if not) every case, the questioner already knows the answer and wants to know if we do. Peace.
