At the end of Revelations it states that if anyone alters the words of the Bible, they will be in deep sh!t. Do you think that since King James' version is a close intreptation that he's "hot footin' " it right now?
(Serious question, I just can' t curb my sense of humor.)

Philippians 1:23-24: Paul stated, “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.”

Was Paul saying that he wished to die and immediately go to heaven?

God created Adam and Eve right? So did god create anyone else at that time? Did Adam and Eve's kids have sex with each other? wouldn't that cause them to be retarted? And If they did have sex with each other, wouldn't that make all of us retatarted as well?
If you give an answer, please reference your information.

Serious answers please!

A preacher at one of the many churches I went to once said that if Adolf Hitler confessed his sins and was truly sorry for them and asked forgiveness through Jesus C., as he sat in his burning bunker, that he would be forgiven. I don't know if I agree with this.
How do you scholars feel about it?

Seem's like it would help God, and that it would be to much work for someone who wanted to be a king.

If someone tells you that "You think you're right all the time", are they saying that they themselves do things they know are wrong?

Why do women say "I didn't plan on getting pregnant!"... Isn't that the kind of thing that you need to plan on NOT 'getting'??

While a component of religion is the private personal element, why do the politically correct people think that the 'private' part is the ONLY part of religion and that public expression is 'off limits', as if it's in the Constitution?

If the athiests are correct, and humans created religion, god, etc, -then why do they blame 'religion' for all the wars of mankind? Shouldn't they just blame themselves in as much as they are human, and are of the same ilk that would have created their own god(s) anyway??

Concerning death-row inmates, - why do some people say "Execute the prisoner, but it's not gonna bring back the victims!". Has anybody ever thought it would bring back the dead?

could it be assumed that God creates out of lonelyness and boredom. Is it possible that having omnipotence and having nothing and no one by which to measure or be awed by this he created a people that he would be able to hold council with? Just a thought.

i think the right way to worship God is by fear Him not only love Him. as He told Abraham:

Genesis 22:12
And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God.....

what do you think? is love is enough ?

I have been seeing this guy for three months, who I really enjoy being with. We classify ourselves as "Friends with Benefits", meaning we are much more than friends. He is open minded, however, a month after being together I asked what his beliefs were and he mentioned that he was a Witness. We pair perfectly, conversation and all, except religion. So I have been slightly troubled since that time. He is opened minded, no bashing of other religions or faiths or anything of that nature, but I just don't know what to do. Please help. I don't want either of us to have our feelings hurt.

During those times when Jesus lived there was a habit among occultist to steal dead body for the purpose of occultism, especially of great men. This tradition of occultist has been documented in many oriental cultures and thereby people burned the dead body to keep the Occultist at bay.

I'm hoping this doesn't draw any negative comments, so if you don't like it, you don't have to comment. This comes from "Examining the Scriptures Daily 2006" published by Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania.

“Whether you are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God’s glory.”-1 Corinthians 10:31.

In everyday life, even in small ways, we want to show that we “slave for Jehovah.” (Romans 12:11) When making decisions, for example, we want to be careful to take into account the will of our heavenly Master, Jehovah. (Malachi 1:6) Difficult decisions may test our obedience to God. Will we then heed his counsel rather than follow the inclinations of our “treacherous” and “desperate” heart? (Jeremiah 17:9) As slaves of God, we must not become slaves of men. (1 Corinthians 7:23) True, none of us like to be unpopular, but we must bear in mind that Christians have standards that are different from those in the world.

How can I do it? I've invited God a number of times but God is always too busy. No time for me, guess my problems are negligible to God.

Or, maybe, my communication channels are blocked.
