Ask an S Korean?
A converted S-Korean has defied all logic. Buddhism provides everything they need, but still they what to understand a Middle Eastern man. Neither will they be accepted in Christian society nor will they be accepted among Buddhists any more.
There is famous says, It is better to follow no religion rather than following others which is full of confusion and doubt.

It means believing like a child and not thinking like the world. How is it that when someone tells you that there is oxygen in the air, or that there was a time when women could not vote, we believe that. How do we know? We read it somewhere? Read the Enquirer I bet we can find a lot of things in there to believe just because someone wrote them. Ok, now I know you will say... some things were proven. Proven by who? You were told that too. You didn't prove them yourself.
If you really think about it, anything that anyone believes can be considered not logical. It just all depends on how you look at it. Just think about how many Scientific "facts" were later found to be untrue.
Bottom line.... believe what is in your heart. I am a Christian, because I know that there is something bigger than me that is out there. I feel it in my heart. Too many things have happened that have proven it to me personally.

most things that people believe defy logic. especially coming from those who present themselves as being logical and especially those beliefs that our and other cultures have based our societies upon. if any thing were logical then at least intelligent people would agree on it, but that is not the case, if so there would be no debate in any field.
as for christianity specifically, what’s the focus of christianity? that christ rose from the dead or that we should live our lives with compassion, to be truly concerned with the wellbeing of the many? i believe that one of gods gifts to us is logic, but that dose not mean that the answers will seem to us to be logical. what we think of as logical now will probably not be held as logical even in the near future.
besides what do you have faith in? logic as it is being presented to us at the present time, god, humanity, your self...

NO! That would mean the bible is not the truth.
Because a person is unlearned in the bible does not mean the bible is not the truth!
(not what I want to say)
If one understands the bible, then (and only then) is the truth revealed.
I am supprised that so many christians (or thoes who call them selves christians) do not understand the bible and yet beleave! I fear that a day will come for them that as you call it "logic" will drive them away from the truth.
But I guess if you do not understand the truth, any logic would be excepted.

Yes. Definitely.
Let's see. How logical is it to believe in the following:
a virgin birth
the existence of an ark big enough to carry every species of every animal
we are all descended from two individuals (incest anyone?)
Moses parting the Red Sea
J.C. turning water into wine (add grapes and ferment)
J.C. rising from the dead
These are just the big ones that come to mind. The Bible is full of such nonsense. But whether believing in those events is logical, the errancy and contradictory nature of the Bible should be obvious to anyone using logic to deduce the validity of an argument.

Not defying logic, but having faith in things that we do not understand and have not seen. In other words, you can't be a doubting Thomas.

Yes - religion calls for faith, not logic, so you need to choose - trust your own intelligence or trust what some authority tells you. That's true of any religion, not just Christianity.

Yes at this time it does because none of it is proven. Oh sure there is the Bible which contains stories and writings of MEN that tell us some things. But there is no proof that there is a trinity or that Jesus is the "son of God" or that we should slaughter a lamb of god, or take our first begotten son out to the woods and chop him up. LOL
