Naturally, a man is a man. Men see women with their eyes. It talks about lust and sinning with thine eye. However, it never really talks about tempting words whereas a female is lusting through which she hears. It also that man treat people with love and turn the other cheek. Women run over nice guys and are always attracted to the bad boy type which is the symbol of masculinity. These attributes go against the way a man should be. The bad boy isn't really caring or concerned with a woman's needs, and that's why she's attracted to him. The nice guy who is Godlike doesn't get the attraction from the females. I think religion tends to frown on sexuality and masculinity definitely. The universal laws of life between man and woman don't corellate with the Bible or religion. Nature.vs.Religion. Why did God make women to feel for the opposite sex like they do, if Religion and Bible calls for feminine characteristics? Masculinity is condemned it seems like to me. Your thoughts?I'm a christian

I am a christian from lebanon. I have always learned to love and tolerate others, to forgive and forget and have always done so even though it is a very hard way.
But today, Israel has killed in such savagery a multitude of people of my country. It has attacked the sovreignty of my nation, my family and friends are there, caught in the middle of a war that they have nothing to do with it.
How can i ever find it in myself not to hate the israelis? they have told countless lies to people, have killed many innocent children and women and other civilians. they have lied to the media endlessly by telling them that they care for civilians, but in the same time, bomb card with kids in it, bomb a building with tons of children and women in it. they ask people to leave the south and sound good on the media, but behind the media's back, bomb all bridges and roads, thus blocking the poor civilians, and then bomb the village. How can i not hate them? How can i not see them other than savages?

The church Christ formed has since dwindled in unbelief, in fact shortly after the apostles die. What makes me say that? The authority of an apostle is different from that of a bishop. Apostles had the 'keys' of leadership over the church as a whole and that authority as far as I understand it was never passed to anyone else before all the disciples (apostles) of christ died. So why do people insist on believing that Christ's church is found in catholicism?

Surely if God was so good and clever at what he did, then he would have built something into us to stop us being as evil as we are, unless we just became evil but then that would point to us changing ergo, evolution, but evolution can't exist in a race created by a supreme being, can it?

Before you answer, consider the following:

We are not talking about the "errors" in the Bible, or any OTHER book than the Koran here.

Muslims say the Bible cannot be the word of God, because it contains errors. They DO NOT apply the same standard to the Koran.

Now, Muslims, I ask you:

Are the stars lamps in the lowest sky, which guard against evil spirits?

[67.5] And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and made them missiles for the Satans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.

Stars are not lamps. They are stars, just like our sun, and they are not in the lowest heaven. Is the sun a lamp too?

***

Are mountains made to prevent earthquakes?

[16:15] And He has set firm mountains in the earth so it would not shake with you

Mountains do not hold the earth steady.

***

Big Bang:

21:30-31 says Heaven and Earth were as one, then separated.
41.11 says Heaven and Earth sere seperate, then came together.

See now?

This is not a question about the idea of "bible codes" in general ...

I am soliciting opinions about the so-called codes listed at this particular website:

http://www.exodus2006.com/3code.htm

Here you'll find everything from "Bush is the beast 666!" and "USA is Babylon 666" to a prediction that Laura Bush will be murdered some night in 2010 and "August 4 2006 - Day of the Sign".

Personally I give zero credence to this bible code business, but at the same time it's not without a certain kind of 'Rorschach inkblot' weirdness that's sort of amusing...

In days gone by, parents were generally dumber than they are today. Of course it’s against the law in many countries for parents to beat or hit their children. Today children can take their parents to court and sue them for damages, children can even divorce their parents if they wish.

Fortunately, today children are not as dumb as their parents, and in the years to come, hopefully parents will not be as dumb as they are today.

It’s a fact that many children have no choice when it comes to religion. They are forced to take Bible studies at school and/or forced to follow their parents religion through teachings at home. The resultant emotional and traumatic damage to the child’s mind can have lifelong damaging consequences.

Should children (and adults) be allowed to take their school and/or parents to court and sue them for having to undergo religious teachings?

You make the claim that there is a god and that you follow him. That is an extraordinary claim. So, making such, you must provide extraordinary proof.
Have any of you done so? No. Have any of you provided as much as a single shred of credible evidence, since you lack any such proof? No.

Oh and before any of you say something as stupid as "but...but.. you can't prove god DOESN'T exist..." Let me educate you before you begin.
The burden of proof rests upon the person that proposes the idea. Not on the listener. For example; say I were to tell you that I have in my backyard, a magic Marmot that eats only diamonds and plops out solid gold roses. Would you believe me? That's an extraordinary claim and it demands extraordinary proof. Even a solid gold rose is NOT proof that it came from the Magic Marmot is it? I could have had it made someplace.
So the burden of proof is on ME to show you the Magic Marmot and to show him eating diamonds and plopping out the roses.
So? Where is your proof?

All the evidence supports them. Don't they realise how stupid they sound when they say it, it's like saying "I don't believe in air" It's staring you right in the face just remove the blindness that religion causes and see for your self. Use a bit of logic for once in your life. Say no to jesus http://www.saynotojesus.tk
