Many people have abandoned the bible for its sins enclosed within. So if we want a better society why doesn't someone write a new 'bible' that is up to date and doesn't have things about stoning people and slavery in it. It could take all the good bits of christianity and throw in a bit of modern wisdom. Churches could be great places again too, i feel they are largely abandoned in the UK.

Revelation 3 vs 19&20 -"Behold i Jesus stand at your heart and knock, if u let me in i will deliver from sins and become your friend." so after my barmitzah i prayed and let our Messiah into my heart- "I'm sorry for my sins, come into my heart help me be my friend-amen" now he is my Messiah savior and best friend-

I am Christian African American man who goes to a mostly white church. Most of my friends are white. I am a deaf interpreter and my wife is deaf. I see things between AA and white Christians are getting better in many ways and yet when I tell them that racism is still alive in 2006. They seem to have a closed mind or they do not want to hear the sad truth. Since I work in the deaf ministry, black and white deaf is not a major problem. Most of my white Christian friends have an open mind and yet there are those who refuse to have an open mind. These inviduals feel that the term (African American) is political correct term and there is no racism. I try to be patient and educate them the reality of race relations and how the term (African American) is to uplift and give pride to descendants of African heritage. If you are African American, do you have how you do deal with those who do not see racism in the USA? If you are white, do you try to see things from an African American Point of view?

Some of them don't have a job, some of them are 20-28 who still live with their parents, some of them have been arrested multiple times, some of them are always asking their relatives for money, and almost all of them have no future.

idiots. When I go to church with my kids, I am an Atheist they are not, and its time for the congregation to repeat the things that are written in the bulletin. They all read it in a montone voice that makes them all seem completely brainwashed. Why don;t they read what it says with conviction and feeling?

i take that as a license to be cruel and evil in my thoughts, so if thoughts pray for their death you deserve what you get. and I AM insane whether you like it or not. take one look at my arm and realize its really only love that is my weakness, so i should destroy that part of Me so that it makes Me stronger. so to everything i ever loved go to hell you made me weak. except family of course.

Everyone screws up at some time in their lives and ........ it certainly does not help abusing alcohol a strong sedative hypnotic drug as that lowers activity in the prefrontal lobe of the human brain .... We say and do things we never would before and that we truly do not mean.

Heck most of a drunks clearest memories drinking and drugging are all second-hand memories .... people cannot wait to tell the world and them what complete idiots they were.

I worked at Detox in the past and Doctors and Judges brought in to sober up and in the grip of that alcoholic insanity would be frothing at the mouth and pounding their heads into the wall screaming out paranoid dellusions as they piss and **** themselves .... five minute later you would never be able to convince them that they would ever do such a thing. These last few days the medias and some Jewish Leaders have jumped up on their soap boxes and crusified this man who despite a moment of weakness is a great actor .. director

God is consistent. He does not change. When He says something, you can live by it, whether it is said in the Old Testament or the New Testament. Yes God is dealing with people through grace instead of the Law, but He has not changed. Paul tells us that the Law was never meant to justify people but rather to bring people to Christ:
