Have you noticed that everyone that smoke marijuana is a loser?

Some of them don't have a job, some of them are 20-28 who still live with their parents, some of them have been arrested multiple times, some of them are always asking their relatives for money, and almost all of them have no future.

My father is 53. He has worked his entire life until he had both legs amputated. He was never arrested for drug use and hasn't lived at home in many years. He recently went back to school and graduated with honors. He was the last person I thought would smoke pot. Until I turned 21 and he asked what I thought about it. I smoked for the first time when I was 23. I am 27. I have worked since I was 18. I don't work anymore because I was in a car accident and I have a severe back injury. I have never been in jail and would love to be back at work instead of being stuck in this house most of the time. I don't live with my parents either. I moved out when I got my first job. I wasn't smoking when I wrecked...I wasn't even driving and the wreck wasn't our fault. My future looks pretty bright from here. maybe a little boring but bright. You find more drinkers in the situation you speak of. Drunk drivers kill more people everyday than those that smoke pot. So who would you say is the loser now?

You know what? I'm really getting sick and tired of people that talk about people that smoke marijuana. First of all, if you have never smoked marijuana, then you shouldn't be posting this question or answer. Second of all, I smoke marijuana and I have a stable job and I don't live with my parents. Third of all, I have never been arrested in my life, and I never ask my relatives for money because I support myself. And fourth of all, my future is already planned. I'm registered to go to school and I know what I want to do for my future.

If someone wants to smoke weed, that doesn't mean that they are going to be lazy asses and get fired from their job and not have a future. Marijuana is a natural herb. Just like god created trees, humans, plants, and animals, he created marijuana. No man or machine or factory makes marijuana.

So for anyone that hasn't tried it, keep your mouths shut, and don't judge a book by its cover (don't judge people by their life style). Because everything that this person mentioned on the question is not all true. I know because I smoke and I have a more than a stable life style. And your probably just one of those people that loves to talk crap about people that do it because your too curious about it. So don't be such a hater and have someone roll you a nice blunt and smoke up. And then tell me something about people that do marijuana.

Sorry hunny but that is not true. I work a full time job, go to college, have a full time boyfriend of over 3 1/2 years, I own my OWN car, I NEVER borrow money from my relatives and I smoke AT LEAST 3 weed blunts a day. I've NEVER EVEN BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE POLICE once in my life. So back off cause you are making a statement that has no validity to it. I am average looking, I work out, I eat healthy, I have a social life, I love working, I love being active, I love going outside and adventures....so shut the hell up cause you don't know what you are talking about.

You are probably right on most counts but I don't think we should call them losers and say they have no future. First of all some very rich, successful people also smoke marijuana. Second, they all could have a wonderful future whether they are rich or poor if they would seek a relationship with Jesus Christ and accept him into their heart. So the future is there, all they have to do is accept it. God Bless You!!

P.S. I am not condoning using drugs of any kind. I never have and believe you are only hurting yourself by doing so.

You ever notice that Self-Righteous people tend to be vague and general? I work two jobs, I am fulfilling the dreams I had as a child, and guess what...I SMOKE MAD WEED! In fact, I probably make more money than you do! And guess what...I GO TO WORK STONED! I live RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH, ON MY OWN, with money that I WORK MY *** OFF for! Nice car, fly girlfriend, and I got money to burn. Since you are so smart, tell me why your opening statement generalizes EVERYONE that smokes weed? You think that is intelligent? You think you are really going to go anywhere in life making generalizations? It's ignorance my friend, and even the straightest non weed smokers will tell you the same. Smoke a spliff, and ease up!

A survey about cannabis use has found that people who work in the technology industry are the most likely to have tried the drug.

The results reveal that almost a third of those who admitted they had tried cannabis worked in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Overall the survey found that 72% of those questioned admitted that they had tried the drug at one time or another.

Yup, thats what spending an hour each day killing brain cells will do...

If you don't beleive me, come to Florida. Home of the 28 year old college drop out and McDonald's crewman (if they are lucky they might get a job at Wal Mart). I am sure there are probably a few people who could handle it and become successful (think Hollywood actors, etc)....but really.....it just ruins people.

I know potheads will come out of the woodwork on this one, and no one wants to asmit it......but its true!

i have a good job a five bedroon house a beautiful wife and well behaved grade A kids.i cycle 50-60 mile a week i have NEVER been in trouble with the police...and...oh yea i smoke a bit of ganga now and then.Please dont tar all dope smokers with the same brush its just not fair!

You are absolutely right! I know someone who is 46 years old and is exactly like that. He always says he is off the stuff and is constantly failing his drug tests and going back to jail. It's all he cares about, being stoned. He never works more than two or three months anywhere, constantly living off people, lived off his parents till they died.
