someone may refer to "in these last days God has spoken to us in His son" I do not think that verse from Hebrews makes the case... sometimes they say 1 Cor 13 ending implies a closing of the cannon... I also do not think that makes the case either...

I think the Bible says "the Holy Spirit will lead you (the apostles) into all (essential) truth in John and in Jude to contend ernestly for th efaith dlived once for all time to the saints

so I think all essential doctrine is in the Bible... however ... it does not mean there cannot be a vision or dream or the like for an individual and there are many stories in the middle east of people from other faiths having visions and dreams of Jesus and becoming believers...

these visions and dreams are not scripture but I see no reason to discount them and I think in general its a bad idea to over resist what God might do artificially

It had to let us know that he created the heavens and earth and all in between, all their is interior the universe God created and he's the only author and there became no huge bang or something which created the international.. it isn't the main considered necessary verse interior the Bible, all verses interior the Pentateuch are all the two holy, and something of the bible (the previous and in basic terms testomony) have a touch lesser holiness. The so talked approximately as new testomony is man made and not holy in any respect yet even impure.

The bible says just the opposite, in the last days the old men will dream dreams and the young men will see visions.

Acts 2: 17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

It is generally taught in most denominations, with the exception of penticostals and charismatics, that the book of Acts was written specifically for the Christians of the Apostolic era in which Christianity being was established. Therefore the gifts of the Spirit are no longer available to todays Christian.

Remember not all scripture is written specifically for us.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God , a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly DIVIDING the word of truth. (emphasis added)

If you keep these verses in mind you will not be deceived by false doctrine. Remember when reading the Bible its important to consider historical context.

There's a great deal of deception in the church today concerning the gifts of the Spirit, just look at many of the televangelists who claim these gifts.

I've never heard or read it, and there are a lot of people who have had visions or dreams. God also talks to us through others, we just have to be open and listen. Sometimes it isn't what we want to hear, however.

Replace the words "no longer" with "doesn't" and it will be one of the few things in the Bible that is actually true.
