Matthew 24: The apostles asked Jesus for a sign of his presence and the conclussions of this system of things.
He spoke of a world war. That in those days would have been impossible. [mt 24:7] All nations ww1 1914 famine 1930
pestilence Asian flu killed more than the war
earthquakes, All these things are a beginnings of pangs of distress. Then we had another world war 2
Matthew 24; 22 A new milestone, a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the worlds beginning until now nor will occur again. In fact unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved alive.but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
Before the discovery of the atomic bomb or nuclear weapons no matter how extensive the war or how brutal some flesh would be saved alive. We have now passed a turning point in mans history we have the ability to destroy ourselves.and every other living thing.
How did Jesus know we would ever be able to do that?
Now we don't know the day or the hour as it says in verse36 But verse 34 say that the generation that saw the start would not pass away. That generation is getting up there. Stands to reason he was pointing to a time period of say 100 years.
a human life span. verse 38 says for as they were in those days before the flood. eating and drinking and getting married.
Normal stuff. Until the flood came and swept them all away.
So it will be a suprise. When you least expect it, expect it.

It says in the Bible no man knows the hour except the Father in heaven. Jesus continues on to describe the things to look for. I think we may be getting closer but I can not be sure since I don't know the mind of the Father.I do know that some of the things in Revelations is coming to pass. So if you are prepared at all times what does it matter? Live your life for the Lord you will be better for it. So yes I believe the facts.

I honestly believe we are seeing prophacy taking place right before our eyes. and it says in the bible all over the New Testament about the things that are to happen before the Return of Christ. SO i Believe those facts to be true and i cant wait to get off of this earth to be with Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.,

people have literally been asking this question for thousands of years, and will continue for thousands more. You shouldn't focus on the coming of Christ, that wasn't the point of his teachings.
