I would go if I were called. Why would I want to be disobedient? As it turns out, I know of a missionary to youth in the middle east. He has been declared persona non grata in several Islamic states because of his work.
In Iran, he knew that every time some kid came to Christ, it was a matter of time before someone would make the teen pay for his crime of apostasy. He's seen siblings or parents kill the converted teens. He is just grateful that they got to know the Lord before they had to meet Him.
One local pastor's congregation is small simply because of this. After baptizing the new convert, they may only last a few weeks or months before they are discovered and killed.

YES YES YES..
I had a rather confsuing relgious past . I am a California girl from OC .. I lived there in Jordan 1 year...Many have no idea about Christianity. However I would say out of all religions Muslims will be the hardest to convert. Even if the have a tigling in there haert and feel Gods pull they will be very scared to even mention to themselves thay want this.. It is punishble by death in the Quran!!!!!!!!!!! There families will most likely kill them and even if they do not they will be rejected completely and disowned.
Research this more on the Internet The conversion from Islam to Christianity and know what you are getting yourself into.
If you are still intrested in doing this GOD BLESS YOU !!!!
If you would like to Chat more about this I may be able to help you out some.

That is not a choise an individual makes... though many mistakenly think so... to be a true missionary of God's Word one must be chosen by God... no other way... A lot of bad is done out there by those who are working from their own belief and not from God's True calling... I would, as one of the Christian Faith, have no option if God called me to go in that capacity. And I would do so with gladness in my heart.
however, All of the christian Faith are called to spread The Good News, In our daily lives and contacts with those we meet. I do my small part by sticking it out here on Y Q&A. Maybe just one will have a seed of fatih planted in their heart. If God do'nt want me to carry on I guess he can fry my computer... I hope I am doing as He wills in this.../

Christ needs His people to teach by example everywhere on Earth, not just the Middle East. There are already Christians there living the Christian example. We are in desperate need of a lot of good eggs right HERE!!

Maybe as a medical missionary or the with Peace Corps but not to spread the word of Christianity. I believe that Muslims have just as much right to their religious beliefs as we as Christians do.

If the Lord calls then we obey. i think it's crazier to disobey the Lord. For those who God has chosen to be missionaries i think they have an understanding and a heart to fulfill the Great Commission that the gospel be preached to the ends of earth, and in that commission too is a promise that the Lord is with us to the end of the age. So it would be an act of obedience with the assurance that God's direction includes his presence (and that would preclude any fears)...

Makes you ask your self even as Muslims comprehend they are going to be killed in the adventure that they convert what makes them convert? perhaps reason they comprehend the the peace the get after accepting Jesus into their hearts?? also they could recant even as they are about to be killed. locate it exciting they comprehend they have a lack of life sentence no longer only from unknowns yet their family participants and acquaintances will turn on you and kill you in easy words reason you've faith in yet another faith. by ability of how, Christianity isn't a faith it really is a fashion of existence. Religions are formed by ability of guy. Say the Catholic church, the protestant church and on and on and on.they are keen to probability having their youngsters killed reason the youngsters many times keep on with the moms and dads..the religion of Christianity is thoughts replacing. You teach me a Christian who converts and that i will teach you someone pointing out they were Christian yet in no way were. only reason someone says they seem to be a Christian does no longer mean they are.

I don't think that God has called me to go there. I think He made me to be here and help people where I am. There are some who are meant to go. I have a friend who just got back. But God sends us where He wills and we are happy when we listen to the call He places on our hearts.

I don't think it's crazy, but I wouldn't do it. I love the U.S. to much to go covorting around the world to spread a message that most people just don't want to hear. There's plenty I can do here in this country to spread God's love.
