To be thankful for what we have and who we are, becuase we too could be homeless and pennyless.

Well some Buddist monks are beggars and I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't know alot about the religion, but if I was them I would probably grow my own food before I went out and asked for donations. (Which they probably do)

We are all beggars relying on the merits and mercy of God and Jesus Christ, so I guess they teach us Reliance on God.
They also teach us how to give unconditionally.

That no matter how lazy you are, people who like to cry "political correctness" and "equality" will always give you money. They also teach us "Hey, it's okay to spend that money on booze and drugs- the shelters and soup kitchens will always care for our nutritional needs and we're bein kept down by the man! And, in case we ever need something else, we can always go back- there will always be do-gooders."

they teach me that it's ok to be lazy, lying, mooching people, because it's a free country. every one i've seen: in wheelchairs=(can walk), say they were vets=(bought a jacket at salvation army), offer to buy them a meal=(no thanks, just some change), offer to take them to work, whether it's construction or laboring,=(are you kidding, i make more money doing this) they take away from the people that really ARE homeless, hungry, and in need of assistance.

beggars are good for society even though some people don't belive this.they give people a good felling if they give them money for example
