Catholics and many other Christians believe that a soul is placed in a human at the point of conception. This is why the Church celebrates on March 25 the feast of the Annunciation when Mary said "Yes!" to God and Jesus was conceived. Life is sacred and a gift from God.
In most in vitro fertilizations, more than one egg is fertilized. Several embryos are then placed into the mother's womb. The remaining embryos are either destroyed or frozen. Destroying human embryos is abortion and freezing them with an unknown future hope of ever being born is not respecting the dignity of human life.
Later if and when the embryos begin to grow in the mother, all but one or two are usually aborted, again killing sacred human life.
With love in Christ.

Yes. Yes. Yes.
Sexual sin is implied to mean ANYTHING that enters a woman other than her husband is fornication. I don't care if it's forceps or a needle. If it's not your husband than it is fornication.
Besides, where in God's green earth do you think you want to raise a child without a FATHER!?
The world already has enough children without fathers and you would just be adding to the same problem.
Children need a MOMMY and a DADDY!!!
Get married, procreate in the Biblical way and make a good life for a child!!!

Why would you want to do that?
I am assuming that you are someone with a Christian background. Let's look at what's right and fair for the child. Growing up with only one parent is a norm today, but it is not the best option. Try as you may, you can only be a mother, not a father. I don't believe this was ever God's plan in what comprises a family.

If it works for you and the child, it will not be a sin. Remember, though, you hold the child's quality of life in your hand. Since, the child did not ask to be born, it would be a terrible sin if you just decided to do this without a plan to reasonably ensure the child's happiness once he's born (and his/her happiness comes from how you raise him/her).

You only commit sin if you committed lust in your hear. Artificial means????...means no sex involved, therefore there is no sin. However, why do you want to do that?...where is the fun in there? Might as well get married and have sex every night!

No, it would not be a sin. If you have enough money and resources to have a child, go for it.

Good question! Only God knows whether her situation is sinful or not.
God bless you for your concerns about sinful living.
