World War Three is a term used to describe a hypothetical conflict on the scale of World War II or larger. Most usages of the term assume the use of weapons of mass destruction such as nuclear weapons.
After the Israeli-Lebanese conflict began on July 12, several people have speculated that the world has begun its Third World War. In a July 15, 2006 article in the Seattle Times, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich has stated that in the coming days he plans to speak out publicly, and to the Administration, about the need to recognize that America is in World War III. He listed the ongoing violence in the Middle East, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other things as proof that America is in World War III. Seattle Times Article Glenn Beck, who as noted above considers the War on Terrorism to be the Third World War, has also applied this label to this conflict (specifically during late July 2006 on his CNN Headline News program.

No, this is the war of civilizations, happening in every continent.
The Islamic terrorists are like Nazi fascists who are after anybody who does not think and live like them.
And to defend that people are fighting everywhere with Islamists and Mullahs examples, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Hizbollah, Chechania, London/ Spain/ Bali/ Bombay bomb blasts.
So the future wars would be like this only--local and not global.
But the day terrorists use a nuke against any country, probably then something big can happen.
And you never know when we are dealing with these Islamists who are suicidal in nature. They don't have a normal enjoyable life and do not wish for others.

I do not believe that we are in www3 yet. I do believe that we are heading toward it. If you read the bible, Ezekiel ch38-39 describes ww3. It is supposed to contain the major nations, China, Russia, Israel, and the Arab coalition. Iran is apart of that group and there will be nuclear war at this time. Iran is not ready for nuclear war because they are still try to develop the hydrogen bombs for this type of war. I am not sure how long the war will last, but the bible says that Jesus will set his foot upon the mount of olives and destroy the armies. I am not sure the war will get to last that long. Watch and see what happens. Read your bible and keep your eyes on the clouds.

Actually, the Biblical account calls for an escalation of conflicts between certain groups before the actual annhilation of the earth. Many times in the past, the events of the day have led people to speculate that the big one was beginning. Certainly the current events fit the model in many ways but we will only know when it is too late to alter the eventuality. (This answer assumes that since we already had the World war to 'end all wars' you must be referring to the End Times.)

I don't think that. WW3 will be a much larger scale. these little wars that are taking place on the news are small in comparison to other wars that have been going in Africa for years. This is not WW3

Oh yeah. Without a doubt.
Hitler and Japan sought world domination, it took the rest of the world to subdue their ambitions.
Communism is another world-domination ideology that still looms menacingly over a vast swath of the world.
Islam is also a world-domination scam, only it's framed in religious terms. It too needs an ***-whoopin' and it will probably take the rest of the world to do it.
Well . . . the rest of the SMART world anyway . . . there's some that can't figure out this equation, the Cindy Sheehans of the world, the Kerry's and Gore's, you know, the communists in a party dress . . . a liberal democrat party dress.

Well, obviously it has going on longer than 30 minutes. In fact, Israel is calling troops in reserve. Hezbollah is firing more rockets, deeper into Israel than ever before. All of middle east is starting to sound alike just like the allies in WWII. If the US, USSR, and China can put their differences aside and get together to fight a common enemy, I say the Middle East can do the same.
So, yep, this definitely looks like the beginning of the end!!!
