I can be any religion I want to be, right? My parents are a mix and they said that they don't like the discrimanation so I can be anything I wanna be. Well, I've always felt that I want to be Wiccan. You know, the witch religion. Spells, sorcery. Anyway I don't see anything wrong with that. Well all my friends parents think the same so we were talking about what religion we wanted to be. I said that they want to be Wiccan. At first they just stared at me. I told them what Wicca is and they thought I was crazy. I'm sure that by now they've forgoten about it but I don't understand why they think I'm crazy. I mean, I know that hardly anyone is Wiccan but so what if I want to be?

1. God believers can't be happy without believing in a skydaddy
Us Atheists are happy about knowing we caught the bullshit

2. God believers dont have the confidence that they can be right about God not existing.
Us Atheists have the confidence in ourselves that we're right about the skydaddy not existing

3. God believers have to rely on a fairy tale book(the bible)s to feel good about life
Atheists feel good about life without out the need of fairy tale books

4. God believers are afraid to not believe because they dont want to risk going to hell (That's because they're lacking confidence)
Us Atheist have the confidence in our logic to not be intimidated into believing in something fake

For pro choice people, i don't know what they do with the fetuses anymore but they use to just dump them in the garbage. Now would you complain or protest if fetus became a meal, if they took the dead fetuses and made them a meal and people ate them? Why would you get mad for, womans choice to get rid of the embryo, she does not want em, so they make them into a meal. Besides according to pro choice logic, it is not alive, nor is it a human, so it's not cannibalism.

Now pro life people, why is it that you are hell bent on not allowing abortions, the kid should be born, but then complain that people are on welfare and using up federal aid? You know some people can't afford children, so you support the unborn, but once you're born you're on your own.

i've seen different comments that we as Christians are saved by grace. it has been stated that all we need to do is believe and once we are saved we are always saved. I have trouble with this thought after reading this scripture at James. Another scripture is Matthew 24:13 which says we must endure to the end to be saved. Why would we need to endure if we are always saved no matter what? Can someone explain using the scriptures? If works are not a requirement for salvation, why does James say "faith without works is dead." ?

If God (as represented in the Old Testament) is perfect, loving and good then can anyone find perfection and goodness in this verse? Ok, let's assume those babies had to die in order to prevent them from becoming "evil". But that theory doesn't fly because plenty of "evil" people are allowed to exist. If the babies had to die for the greater good of mankind then why couldn't God just painlessly zap them away or let them go to sleep peacefully if they weren't meant for this world? Wouldn't that be a more loving approach? That's why I don't believe the Bible can be the exact and final word of God. Otherwise, God would be less than perfect. I think the people who have had Near Death Experiences give a better picture of God then some of what is in the Bible.

everytime an evolutionists tries to teLL me my precious Bible might only be 90% true i give them this genius question "if we evoLved from apes then why are there stiLL apes?"

Then they teLL me that there was a group of apes that Lived in an enivironment where having human characterisitcs menat you had a better chance of reproducing, and there was another group of apes that Lived in an environment where having ape characteristics meant you had a better chance of reproducing.

Then i say "Oh." because it makes a lot of sense

In all the hundreds of millions of years that species have had to evolve, why have none evolved to have a conscience and knowledge of right and wrong? Why are we so rare among all the creatures that have ever lived? Call it God or call it conscience, but something "speaks" to me every time I have to choose between doing something right or wrong! Whether it is God or conscience, why isn't it as common among other species as eyes, brains or a digestive system? Why only mankind?

why is it that mormons believe that the bible is corrupt? is it because it has gone through the hands of people? because if so what protects the book of mormon from such corruptions? and if the book of mormons if so perfect then why has it had more than 10,000 correction, half of which are not grammatical? I've kept a prayer journal for over a year now. Many prayers have been answered through my journals. God and I really communicate through my journal. We also deeply communicate while I'm worshipping Him, such as when I am singing His Praises. I know that when I am able to block the world around me out through singing or writing, I am truly on a blessed plane with my Father. I really like to write and sing (that is just the type of person God has made me to be), but I do know that I feel even closer to God when I pray out loud - just on my knees talking. Even when I simply think a prayer to God in public, it just seems like my prayer could be stronger. I know that it is the enemy who is keeping me away from doing what I long to do - having a physical and pleasurable conversation with my Father. I've already asked the Lord to help me in this; I was just wanting some advice on how communicating with the Lord. Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Rachelle <3
