The original writers believed what they were saying as fact.

They did not want / need people to interpret their meaning.

They meant it exactly as they wrote it.
You only add interpretation because the text is just plain wrong.

You see so many questions here on "religion" that say things like: "Prove to me there is a God" or "Why should I believe" or "Why doesn't the (Ever Changing) Science agree with this or that. That's because is God is spirit you can never understand God on a human brain level..you have to go deeper to the spiritual level.This comes through seeking him..and asking. Being in his word and seeking him in a honest way. I am convinced that most try to convince themselve there is no God because they don't want to be accountable or they've had a bad experience with a "religious person". You will never "Get it" through human reason...God requires a higher level. Some get it..some will never..but we all know deep inside that tells us the earth the universe just didn't happen..there has to be more than the latest new science theory..that's the hunger..that's why many non-believers come here. Okay for some..mock away!!!!!!!!!

in Islam we worship only god ,we dont worship things or people that are created by him, that we can see, smell, imagine ....
and we believe he is the best in everything and logically it is impossible to have more than one best in everything.
why some people associate creatures with the creator????

So why are thieves still condemned? Why do Christian fundamentalists continue to condemn homosexuals?

I see that sometimes you use that bible thing to justify it sometimes. Some of you seem to think that it was me who wrote this book or inspired it.I mean come on, I can't even use spellcheck. I appreciate the biography but man have you got your facts wrong !

I finally got around to reading the bible the other day and woah ! Are you guys way of the mark or what.

I didn't smite anyone and what's this about a flood and plagues of locusts ? Ugh I hate insects. I didn't realise that they would evolve.
And a flood ? LOL. i get seasick watching Speed 2. As for turning people into a pillar of salt ! I'm allergic to salt so cross that one out. I get a big rash. Uggh.

And NO, I have nothing against gay people. Sheesh !

If you must make up stories fine, but please don't use these stories in order justify to hating and killing each other.
