Do they think animals don't get 'horny' or depressed? (especially mammals)

Get real, I'm a Christian and I have never heard this absurd idea. I love animals so much, I don't eat meat, fish or poultry.

Actually there are Christians that are vegetarian. I believe the Seventh Day Adventists don't eat meat. It could also be argued that the closest man was to God is when there was no death and man only ate vegetable matter.

With this said yes, there are a lot of Christians that do not think too hard about the suffering of an animal. They may believe in a type of animal welfare but ultimately many believe that the world was given to man to have dominion over.

The truth is most people want to do what they want to do. If they have a built in philosophy that will rationalized their behavior they may become even more attached to that philosophy than before.

But if you are trying to convince Christians to be kinder to animals there are ways to attempt to convince them biblically. However ultimately it is up to their hearts whether or not it will have any effect.

Generally, no. Anybody who believes this is wrong. All animals can feel pain and all you have to do is look at an animal whose owner (or loved one), playmate, or mate is missing, and you will see them moping around depressed. On the flip side, see how joyous they are when the missing come back. (And yes, they can be horny... why else would a dog start humping anything available?)

Of course they have feelings and emotions.

sure, animals sense discomfort. The non secular and nonreligious can agree that people are extra suitable to all different animals in intelligence, which places them on the best of the food chain. Killing an animal for food, heat temperature, and so on. isn't incorrect. Killing an animal for exhilaration is incorrect.

Where did you get a silly idea like that? SCIENTISTS are the ones that don't believe in animal sufferings. They'll do lots of painful things to them.

I know they feel pain. My dad always taught me to hit a fish on the head before scaling it so it would not suffer.
