Active faith is trusting what you believe. Its easy to do alot of things for faith but trusting and believing thru certain periods or events in life is the biggest test of whether you really have faith. You will not be ashamed of your faith but will live it and thereby see others drawn to it by the light that is in you.

Faith begins to ones innerself. Everyone commits sin, makes mistakes and at times fails. Active faith doesn't mean to be active on church (for Catholics), though attending to Mass (or equivalent) is a must because it is a manifestation of our obedience and faith to HIM. Active faith is being manifested by accepting our mistakes or any wrong doings through asking forgiveness and the effort not to commit sin again but by how you should avoid not to do what wrong you did on the past. Sensitivity to the feelings of others and all other good deeds you can give to others without expecting anything in return. Of course am not saying that you should always be Mr. Nice Guy or anything to that effect. Just be yourself.

By honoring the Divine in my daily life, not just for an hour and a half once a week. By tending a garden, feeding the animals, helping the less fortunate. By stopping and listening to the wind in the trees, feeling the sun on my skin, watching the waves dance across the water, smelling the scent of freshly-turned earth. By watching the moon go through Her phases night after night, as the earth turns in Her seasons. By recognizing that the Divine is around us and in us everywhere, not just in a certain building or a certain place at a certain time.

Faith can't be shown. Faith is a believe, like when you are stuck in a situation you must believe you will get out of it ok, that is your faith speaking to you. Nobody can show you faith.

One way that I show it is by integrating the message into my life. I try to live my life by the principles of my faith. . .so I guess I show active faith by how I live. (To me, that's a louder message than anything that I can say to others.)

Active faith is different for each person.....its does not mean necessarily that you have to attend church, rather it means that you have to truly believe in whatever it is you believe in and live your life as such. If your faith is to believe that people should be treated with respect, you should actively treat all people with respect.
