I learned the Bible based truth!
As God wants all to attain to salvation, praying for understanding His word the way He meant it, is a prayer He will answer. When I prayed for understaning of scripture it was given.

Yes, many of them.

1. A big one was the salvation of my immediate family. I came to know Christ at 13, now all of them profess Christ's name. My dad is now the spiritual leader in our family.

2. The Lord healed me during my pregnancy from complications.

3. The Lord kept my grandmother from dying when even the doctors gave up hope. I believe the Lord did this so that my very large extended family could see His hand. During this time, even the hardest of hearts bowed and prayed to God.

4. After hearing a lesson about having a vision for my life, I went home and wrote one down (almost two yrs. ago now). There's a verse that says that without a vision the people will perish. This made sense to me since all business plans have a mission and vision statement. Well, most of what I envisioned for my life has come to pass and then some. For e.g., I envisioned my sisters to live in the same town as my family so our kids can grow up together. She's moving down by the end of the week. Another one, my home. People marvel at how we have transformed our home. We did this even through one of the busiest hurricane seasons ever. The Lord is still providing and answering. These are just a few, some important some whimsical. God cares about everything.

I'm not better than anybody, I don't have exclusive rights to God. God has His ear inclined to anyone and everyone who calls on His name (Jesus). I pray all the time- more like conversations with God. I also do my best to guard my heart. This means I work at keeping my heart pure. When I don't, I take it to God.

May God bless you and give you peace.

Yes - I've told it here before, but I don't mind sharing his awesomness - my husband was dying and they told me to spend the night at the hospital with him - I laid on the floor and just prayed for him and at 4 am I decided I might as well just hold his hand and us talk and enjoy what time we would have, a peace had come over me from praying anyway, it was on 9-30-04 and the verse that came to me was Philippinas 2:27 "For indeed he was sick night unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not ho him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorow upon sorrow." At 4 am I noticed some shuflling at the nurses stations, but it wasn't until 6 am that I found out all of his vitals had returned to normal and they began to realize he was coming off the cricital list instead of declining. Both God and my husband are still with me. God still answers prayers in my life everyday. Not just my wants or wishes - but he has taught to me let my heart be aligned with His desires and it those desires that bring the most satisfaction and teach me the most. Most recently I've been praying for my introverted son to have a good working environment - our Terminex man came by, I mentioned this, and he suggested where his daughter works as she was the same way - so yesterday my son interviewed at that location - he starts work Monday. Had I not been seeking for an answer through prayer, the topic may not have even come up with the bug man, whom I did not know had a daughter. God has his ways if we truly take our every need to him.

God answers all prayers...Sometimes He doesn't answer in the way we want Him to....Sometimes He has to say "NO" for a reason (His reason). We don't like this and some say He doesn't answer but He did. It's like a child asking for something from a parent, if the parent says "no" then the child is upset and angry and even question the parents love.
Same difference.
God answers my prayers everyday. We just have to know what to look for in seeking our answer.
Most of the time we pray and ask when we receive, we forget to thank Him for the blessing. We forget all too quickly we prayed for it. Some people call it luck.

Yeah Absolutely, all the time, I am blown away at the amount of prayers God has answered for me, i am a new Christian and so never used to pray at all, but having followed the whole, pray, read the bible, ask holy spirit into your life stuff etc,i now have a relationship with God, He is Real!!!! I have loads of stories, too many to mention, but all i can say is that there is truth in this Jesus stuff and if you want to see God, YOU CAN, just follow the instructions.

yes, but I didn't always get what I might have prayed for, but, I as it turns out , most often I got what was best for me. I want to thank you for your question at a time when I really needed to think about what God has done for me. Sometimes I take for granted all the wonderful things He does in my life and I had so so so many answered prayers I could have told you about that you opened my eyes to just how thankful I am. Thank you and God Bless!

I really needed money for my rent and I prayed to God so I wouldn't be evicted and a check came in the mail the very next day. It wasn't a coincident, it was God. God has answered many of my prayers and I thank him everyday. When you pray you also have to (try) and live right. Do right by God and he will do right by you. And remember, in his time and not in our own because he knows the future and we don't. He knows what we need and when we need it.

God has answered many of my prayers. In fact they have all been answered. I admit at times, they were not the answers I expected, and sometimes the answer was no. But more often than not, He answered me with what I had prayed for. Be very careful, you might get what you pray for in a very unexpected and different way than what you intended.

No, he hasn't answered anyones prayers because God is imaginary. A sort of invisible friend for adults. A bit like father christmas but somebody forgot to let on that God doesn't exist.

Yes God always answers prayer. It may not be the way we expect or even want at times, but His will for our lives is much better than our will for our lives.

I have answered to prayers regarding my family, jobs, when praying for others, finance, - situations and circumstances - so much I could write lots of books in fact.

God is faithful, and when we commit our lives to Him in faith, its then we prove Him.

Yes, He always answers, yes, no, later.
The trick of the whole thing, is trusting Him that He knows best, and His timing is best. Remembering that His ways are higher than our ways.
To be patient for Him to do things the right way, and not in the way that I think is right. Many people fall away, when they pray, and God dosen't give them what they want, or He dosen't answer soon enough, or He dosen't answer in the way they want Him to. They forget Who He is, or they don't know Who He is.
Hmmmm. I did'nt answer your question did I? Sorry! He answers so often, that to say what happened would take up way too much space!
