Israel appears to have lost it's mind over 2 hostages, invadeing Lebanon, killing innocent people who have nothing to do with Hezbolah taking the Jewish soldiers hostage, destroying property, and making the middle east region even more unstable.

Are two lives worth all those others who are getting injured and killed in Lebanon by Israel's military invasion?

I doubt Christ would have been crusified if the Jewish people cared as much for Our Lord.

This isn't a rhetorical question.

I once read an article that stupidity has some kind of evolutionary benefit, and I can't imagine how society would function unless there was some stupidity. While stupidity is not the sole requirement for the following examples to work, it certainly does make things easier: advertising, the required effort to find a mate, scaling groups of people and maintaining order, etc.

Also, I wanted to know what sort of responsibility does living in such a world place on people (of a different intelligence) who see that things can be different, and perhaps better?

We are going to be awarded a scholarship for three of our children to attend a catholic school that would pay about half of the tuition.. The school will probably help us out a little too, but it will STILL be a little bit of a struggle to pay it.. We love the school though. Do you think that it is worth it to try and make it work, or do you think public schools are just fine? We do have a pretty good public school system, but I like the religious aspect and also the catholic school is small and family like.

how come there isnt one religion that doesn't beg for money? the mormon church has a billion dollar gold statue on the roof, the christians have the vatican with billions worth of art, the jews have everything, the muslims have all the oil in the world, AND STILL, they all beg for money from their poor folowers. Why does god need money. This shows me that a belief in god is just a way to control weak minded people and scam their money. Am I wrong??

READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY AND THOURALLY: -

Will the Red indians who were killed in USA by the early settlers about 500 years ago go to hell as they did not Know and had not excepted Christ,will the Aborignes who were subject to Genocide killed about 200years ago in Australia by European settlers go to hell as they were not Christians.Will the many tribal communities of Africa go to hell who do not believe in christ ,will the Victims Of the A bombs of Japan go to hell as most of them were Buddhists.How can you also Expect 70 percent of the non believers to believe in Christ whenever I ask that in this forum the only answer you have his you must have faith or else go to hell ,as if OTHER RELIGIONS ARE FALSE & HAVE NO VALUE
Many tribals can’t even pronounce modern Languages,
And those who haven’t heard the Gospel will be judged by their hearts and others who have refused will go to hell, just because the MISSONARIES CANNOT PROVE THE BIBLE TO THEM..

and after that he is going to send BILLIONS of HUMAN SOULS who did not believe the words of his supposed son carried out by missionaries throughout the world (what the Bible Glows and the other holy books remain the same ,WHY Should any one believe in Your holy texts , I mean there is no credible proof That yours is the only religion right.
IF you put a cross on a Sick person he becomes well and if other holy symbols are put on a sick person he remains the same


What kind of God do you believe in that instead of punishing man for his folly,he forsaked his countless generations to forces of nature,( would you be able to forgive your parents if they threw you out on the streets as a punishment and in the future if you became a criminal they would come back and say sinner For your crimes we will punish you)
(Your interpretation of such a heartless God amazes me,see other religions where they state that you will be judged only by your good and bad deeds by Higher authorities)

Countless mythologies state that Gods had walked on this planet and had come to help men in Severe crisis’s (all you can say various faiths are work of the Devil
I say if they are ,Then why Did your all mighty God allow them to be created in the first place) How can you prove that many Gods may not exist
Except saying Have faith and the bible states so
And the worst part is many of you still believe all have to just except Christian doctrine,
Or they will face damnation. .
I am A supporter of Old CIVILIZATIONS like THE ROMANS, GREEKS, EGYPTIANS.
CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM ZEALOTS HAVE DESTROYED all of THEIR BEAUTIFUL CIVILIZATIONS.
How many RITUALS, CUSTOMS ,TRADIDITIONS Of their Civilization has been Destroyed

DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TEMPLES, MYTHOLOGICAL & PHILOSOPHICAL BOOKS HAVE BEEN DESTROYED BY THESE ZEALOTS, Just because they think they were right.

WESTERN WORLD YOU CANNOT EVEN EMPHASISE WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WONDEROUS WORLD IT WOULD BE IF THESE GREAT CIVILIZATIONS WOULD STILL BE EXCISTING.

THE ZEALOTS DESTROYED SO MANY CIVILIZATIONS THROUGH IDEOLOGICAL BOMBS.

HAVE YOU EVEN READ YOUR HISTORY HOW THE CHURCH DESTROYED MANY RELIGIONS THROUGH ECONOMIC AND MILITARY COERSIONS (BLODDY PAGAN WARS etc)
HOW MOHMMADS HORDES DESTROYED THE ZORASTRIANS AND HAVE NOW REDUCED THEM TO A SMALL MINORITY.

ARE THERE ANY RECORDS OF PAST CIVILIZATIONS CONVERTING THE PEOPLE OF THEIR CAPTURED
TERRITORIES TO THEIR OWN RELIGION.DID THE ROMANS CONVERT THE JEWS WHEN THE JEWS WERE UNDER THEIR CONTROL.

If so, how hard would it be to convince you that there are exactly seventy generations from Adam to Jesus? And this was God's plan from the beginning. It was also his plan, that every seventh generation would have a hero, and also every tenth. None of the other generations would be significant.

It sounds a little retrospective to me, like the coin.

Y shud I believe in Christianity or Islam or Hinduism or any other religion?? Y is the whole basis of religion not just a guideline for someone to follow in his life?? Y ppl take everything written in their scriptures true(about judgmnt day,about all the miracles performed)? How can the theories propogated 1000's of years b4 can still be applicable to our life having seen the whole world changed since then...?? Y we dnt just choose to live our lines with morals and dignity being virtous and kind, rather than line by line following the scriptures?? rest alot later...if sumone can answer these starting question plz...:):)

If someone says, "I don't believe in god", the certain few attack you with a comeback of saying that you're going to hell. That's not very accepting or religious-like at all in my opinion. Gee, if I was god I would want people to feel accepted, and not throw them into the fiery pits of hell if they don't believe in me. I KNOW THAT ALL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ARE DEFINITELY NOT LIKE THIS. I am talking about a certain few. Can someone who knows what I'm talking about please answer this??

Two pastors go to Duke Divinity at the same time and take the same classes and graduate with their M. Div. with honors. One goes and becomes a fundamentalist preacher and one becomes a MCC pastor. They both preach on Sodom and Gomorah on the same Sunday in the same town. The first Preaches that the text is about the sin of homosexuality and the second preaches that the text is about the lack of welcome and the hardened heart.
