This is a holy war fought in the name of God on both sides and it's right there in the holy land! I guess who ever wins is definitely God's favorite. Right?

I see some questions on yahoo answers regarding homosexuality in Christianity. Its clear to me that the mythology contained in the Holy Bible shows clearly that homosexuality is a sin. We see this in Genesis, Leviticus, Romans, Revelation.

My question to gay people is, why are you trying to fit into a group of people who have been brainwashed into believing their mythology is the word of God, and there for won't accept you? It's like blacks wanting to join the KKK in my humble opinion.

Someone you love is suffering horribly from a progressive disease that causes chronic pain, physical and mental debilitation. They have just asked for your help to die. They want to overdose on their meds and to go quickly. They can't do it alone. They need someone's help. Are you brave and compassionate enough to help them cross over to the other side? Would God allow you or stop you from helping?

I've noticed that whenever the Pope has one of his rallies he almost always carried around in a bullet-proof vehicle. I know the Pope is mortal, but if God does everything for a reason then if someone shot him this would mean God had this in his plan. Right? If God would not want him to die then he wouldn't let it happen. Right? So this would mean that the Pope fears he would be killed by an assassin and wants to protect himself. Why does the Pope not trust God? And why would he want to get in the way of God's overall plan?

Isn't that deeply cruel?
Some people don't seem to have a mature understanding of sexuality or how it is integral to all humans gay or str'8 and cannot be changed, it cannot logically be a sin to be gay in a loving physical relationship, but any manifestation of gayness is sinful according to some people...I say celibacy is for nuns & priests.

Look at this quote from a previous answer from marianne:
"If you removed the gayness from a person, you would be one step closer to salvation for the person, if he will be humble enough to accept christ in his heart , and stay away from the sin. Gayness represents the rejection of Christ in a person's life, and self deception that gayness is not sinful, but it is. If gayness is an integral part of a person, then the person is in sin, and needs to repent. They are addicted and do not understand this. It is a form of bondage just like other forms of sin. You cannot come to Jesus without first repenting, and asking for forgiveness."

What was behind that yahoo survey about "beef franks", are they trying to find out the salary bracket, mean age, and computer usage of target groups, or are they trying to find out which users are observant Jews?

I mean some people say that they don't believe in God because they have no "proof" and I was thinking that how can anyone believe in love if there is no "proof." I am not speaking of love for ones children, that although wonderful is part of the natural order. I am speaking about that intimate connection one makes with a partner for life. How do you know it's real? There is certainly no physical evidence. Can you prove that LOVE is real?

We are told to love the sinner but hate the sin...
this goes a bit awry when applied to alleged "sins" that are integral to the identity of the person like gays for instance.

Gays cannot give up their alleged "sin" without giving up their gayness, gayness is integral to them...if you could remove the gayness from the gay person what would you have?..

Some people find elements of Christianity hateful, should they love the Christian but hate the Christianity? and if the Christianity was removed from a Christian what would be left?... it's a very similar thing,

Still it would be easier to remove the Christianity from a person than to remove the Gayness from a person because Christianity is a religious choice but human sexuality cannot be chosen.

Under the fourth divine institution, the national entity, is the function of the human government. This function includes the concept of a courtroom and the policeman on the beat. In no way is this intended to be derogatory to the law; to the contrary, it is a recognition of the importance of law enforcement, and the proper prosecution of law in the courtroom. However, there came a time in human history when this very important function broke down completely and, of all things, with the only Person who has absolutely perfect in His humanity.

Your thoughts?
