Righteous people are obligated to fight evil wherever it is.....some people are foolish to claim that every war is wrong. We have wars not because the good people are wrong, but becasue there are evil people out there. I guess people who would oppose war for any reason would have also refeused to help the jews during the holocaust, or would currently refuse to help those being tortured and persectued in Sudan.

After all, let innocent people suffer. It is not our problem....that is a selfish attitude. God's will is that the strong protect the weak.

Although there are many records of wars in the name of God in the Bible, I totally disagree with it when people say they wage wars in the name of God. No, God never tells anyone to wage wars against another country in His name. God wants us to love one anolther because we're all His children.

God came to give life, so that we would have it more abundantly. Satan came to steal, kill, cause pain and suffering. War would not be neccessary, if it were not for Satanic forces at work. Satan prevents peace. God gives peace. War is only necessary, if it is to fight against evil. Such as the Bible states, there is a time for everything. If people would give their hearts, souls, and lives to God and turn away from Satan & sin...there would not be a reason for war.

I don't know if any leader (other than those of a theocracy) would say any sort of war-like action was god's will.....well, except for Bush...but that's probably why you asked this question.
