I've heard the Vatican is one of the richest entities (monetarily) on the planet. Is this true? If so, what is it worth?

"The Vatican has large investments with the Rothschilds of Britain, France and America, with the Hambros Bank, with the Credit Suisse in London and Zurich. In the United States it has large investments with the Morgan Bank, the Chase-Manhattan Bank, the First National Bank of New York, the Bankers Trust Company, and others. The Vatican has billions of shares in the most powerful international corporations such as Gulf Oil, Shell, General Motors, Bethlehem Steel, General Electric, International Business Machines, T.W.A., etc. At a conservative estimate, these amount to more than 500 million dollars in the U.S.A. alone

yes..you've heard it right. In US alone is more than $500 million. Their treasure of solid gold ..in gold ingots is several billion dollars. But Vitica said that their yearly operating budget is $260 million
and their net worth estimate as of 1980s is $1 billion only.

More then it should be !!!!!! Why aren't they useing the money to help their people and the churches that have been destroyed, like God tells them to. Instead they use it to make things shiney and gold laced, and make statues, and everything God said not to. He tells us to take care of our elders, the vatican lets that to us. And unfortunatley we put them in homes and pass the buck, again how sad.
