I've noticed that whenever the Pope has one of his rallies he almost always carried around in a bullet-proof vehicle. I know the Pope is mortal, but if God does everything for a reason then if someone shot him this would mean God had this in his plan. Right? If God would not want him to die then he wouldn't let it happen. Right? So this would mean that the Pope fears he would be killed by an assassin and wants to protect himself. Why does the Pope not trust God? And why would he want to get in the way of God's overall plan?

The Pope is a very high profile target and this has nothing to do with trust in God. Look at John Paul II who was shot by a gunman in St. Peters square. He survived and went on with his papacy. He speaks out against all the immorality and some people just don't want to hear this, guilty conscience perhaps. Its prudent that he take precautions and is protected to the fullest extent possible. He is not getting in the way of God's plan.

Do you wear seat belts? Don't you trust God?

Bad things sometimes happen to good people. It is our responsibility as thinking adults to take sensible precautions.

This does not mean that we do not trust God, but that God gave us minds and we are to use them.

Dozens of Popes have been martyred or killed. Dozens more, including Pope John Paul II, were victims of assassination attempts.

There have always been forces in the world does not like the Good News of Jesus Christ to be preached.

With love in Christ.

The Pope is a very important person when it comes to the Catholic church. He makes important decisions with the other leaders at the Vatican. The pope also speaks out with his opinion on things and becomes a high profile target of hate groups for his speeches. Thus he becomes a target of hate crimes.

We wouldn't want to make the pope vulnerable. Besides,
believing on "God's will" alone, doesn't justify one's faith. It's by work, prayers and example that we are.

If we point all misfortunes are part of His divine plan and not man's cause. Isn't that blaming God?

I hope this short answer convinced you.

Because there are many people who are angry at some of the things he says and some of the respinsibilities he does not take (such as telling starving people in third world countries that they should not use birth control even though they cnanot afford to feed any more children).

Not everyone has the same belief in God that you do. Accept it.

He's like any other religious leader. He uses his belief system to control and influence the lives of others. It has nothing to do with God. Put yourself in the firing line and someone is going to take a shot.

Any "Godman" of any religion does not believe in god. Only poor followers they make to believe. Pope, being one such godman knows verywell that. Thus keeps bodyguards and armoured vehicle.

So know one would kill him like we've seen in the past. It might well be God's plan to use protection

This is an extremely poor way to criticize religion. Get better material. Your scenario is ridiculous and bears no insight into reality.
