Honey, I am happy for your new found light of Christ. I wish you mush peace & love. I hope you heal the wounds that you have from school days. Let me just say this: God and Christians were always there in life, and always will be. I just had this same talk with a very distraught male youth. When you are a teenager, you are very impressionable, you are searching for where you fit into the world, you are trying to discover who you are, and attempt to make sense of the world. It is a very important time, in ones life. Satan knows this too. Satan does not need to work on the souls of older people as much as he does the youth. The reason for this is simple. By the time you mature and form a belief system and set of values, ethics, morals, you pretty much decide if you are living for God or for yourself. Satan takes advantage of this time. He is a great deceiver. He confuses youth and tries to get them to live for their own fleshly desires. He tries to get them to drink alcohol, use drugs, have elicit sex, lie to their parents, gossip about fellow classmates, et al. To many youth, especially today, it seems like that is the right way to live, because the world accepts it, it seems like the way of the world. Adolescents are trying to fit into the world, fit in with their peers. It is a developmental time too, which friends are a very, very important component. So then, the youth go to parties, and places where those of the "Crowd" gather. Everyone seems to be doing the same things. The trouble begins with, the fact is that a Christian would not be going to these places, doing those things, and trying to hang out with those people. It is a tough struggle. When one gets older, they usually find out, those people are no longer a big part of their life. They start to see the ones who began using drugs and were "cool" now have addictions. They see the ones who thought they were so big, and have not changed and matured are a mess. There are others, like yourself, who have rose above the worlds standards. They choose not to follow the worlds ways and submit to following Christ. If adolescents could attend Church & Sunday School, get involved with youth groups, join Bible study classes, get involved with Scouts, 4 H clubs, etc then they may be more apt to see more Christians when they are teenagers. You see, Christians and non-believers have different life-styles. You won't see a Christian with the same types of people, doing the same things or going to the same places as non-believers. When a person becomes a Christian, they change their life completely. They follow God's plan for their life, they no longer desire to live for their own fleshly desires. Adolescents often fall viictim to Satans traps, but if they spiritually mature, they escape the entrapment and allow their spirit to become free from the imprisonment that Satan kept them in. ...then and only then can a person feel free, peace, and happiness. God Bless you on your journey of life. Never feel bad about the past, you kept the faith and you are overcoming!

When I was in middle and high school (yes I went to public school) I was fairly religious (presbyterian, went to church and sunday school) but I wouldn't exactly say that I was a Bible believing Christian. I did a lot of things that went against the Bible.

If you have believed that Jesus died for your sins, then you are a Christian. I know the feeling, that you are trying to be worthy of being called that, trying to be worthy of what God has done for us, but that is the whole point. We are not and can never, on our own, be worthy.

I am praying for you. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk.

I went to public schools in PA. I didn't know of any Christians in or out of school. I doubt that the preps were Christians either. For help now in understanding true Christianity check out the below web-site before the self proclaimed christians that go to church mess you up. Church goers don't have one bit of interest in a person until that person starts attending their church and all of a sudden they love him. But the second they question or challenge something taught watch out because then you will see their true personality.

I was a rebel and a "bad christian" while I was in school. It is only after I matured did I realize my need for Christ in my life. I think for the most part it is natural to stray during the pubescent time frame.. it is the end result that matters most... you have finally found your place, with him.

they don't look to be Jews because Jew's do not believe the messiah has come yet. they don't believe Jesus so believing in Jesus and saying your Jewish obviously contradicts one yet another.... this is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that call themselves "Jews". supply up this custom now, your disgracing both Judaism and Christianity.

Good for you. You have grown more than some of the scholars of our country. You will have wisdom that they cannot understand. Do keep reading bible (Matthew thru Revelations in the new testament to help you grow)

It was alot easier when I was a kid in school.
At least, it was, until the government threw God out.
Funny thing...the adults around me at the time were very sure it would never happen. Not in America!
