I should hope they wouldn't be 1/2 decomposed. If we could assume they would look the same as in life, it would be nice. If it were like night of the living dead I'll pass...

You mean like remembering a loved one's day of death each year on that day...

You could put a vase of flowers on table by a photograph of them on that anniversary day, or if they are buried you could go visit the cemetery...have a chat to them...why not!

well i guess it depends on what they look like, are they going to be all grossified and decaying? then, ewww, gross.
otherwise it would be great to see them but also very sad. you know you only have 24 hours with them. it would hurt all over again after they wer gone. but i guess it would be good if you didn't get any closure they first time.
