Ask God each morning to take charge of your thoughts.
Tell her that you recognize that you have been making a mess of things and need all the help you can get.
Then be open so you can hear the comments she makes throughout the day about the responses you could be having to the situations you are confronted with.
They will sound something like this.
What is the loving choice?
We could pick the loving choice.
How about we take the high road and just be loving.
I could go on but I think you get the point.

I believe that was one of the most thoughtful questions I have ever read here.
I try not to rush to an answer. I like what the Apostle Paul said to Timothy, and it goes for all of us.
2 Tomothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

I pray. Every single night, I ask that we (my family and I) will always love God and always WANT to love God and WANT to worship Him. That He will help us make the right decisons and that He would hlep us to never 'turn away' from Him or abandon or faith ect. I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology there but I've known many who were raised as Christian and later, gave it up all together. Or they go to another faith that has different beliefs

Yikes - I had completely forgot about how god wants to answer these questions out of me! Maybe I'll just have to fib a little bit when supplying the answers, not only for these questions but in all things. Thanks for the reminder!

God is the master. When one truly learns how to walk with God. God is not external to the humans, he is the spirit within. People, all people, are controlled by the spirit. If one has taken up their cross and following Christ, they live according to his ways. If one does not submit to God...they live for the flesh and Satan controls them, by encouraging them to live for their selfish desires of the world & of the flesh!
