I think even all of muslims should be slayed..If one man makes a cartoon all the muslims come out against everyone then why not all muslims should be killed for 9/11 or 7/7..Cause it was donr by muslims in the name of Allah killing infidels.

When Christianity promotes smashing small children against rocks?

"O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." (Psalm 137:8-9)

Apparently only 16% of the worlds population (yes, these are questionable stats - I doubt the surveyor asked everyone!!) have no religious beliefs, and of these half still believe in a God. So it could be said only 8% of the worlds population don't believe in a God(s) (excluding Buddhists). Are you in the minority?

So therefore we cannot stop committing sin & other violations since since we are of the lineage of satan. Maybe that's the reason why Jesus wanted us to drink his blood & eat his flesh because he is of heavenly flesh and blood, while we are of satanic flesh & blood. So Jesus was of God's lineage & we are not that's why we need to be saved and that salvation is ultimately the changing of our lineage from satanic back to God's.

I am of Wicca religious beliefs but my family is avidly christian. My father even went so far as to attempt to "save" me from eternal damnation by making me take sunday school (that didnt go over to well with the church). I appreciate that he is only trying to watch out for me and he really believes that the path I have chosen is an evil one, but it can be kind of hard to deal with sometimes. Does anyone have any advice? Perhaps you've been persecuted for you're religious beliefs in the past and have an idea of what i should do?

Ok im 16 and preaching my sermon well co-preaching with a friend. and Its based upon Micah 6:3-8 where God is asking why people have turned their back when he has done so much for them and they try and buy their way to God. Then God says what he wants from his people and im preaching to my youth group on how God has done so much for us like sending his son to die, blessing us, our needs, being there etc. and how in return we use our mouths for cursing instead of praising, have sex outside of marriage, doing drugs and getting drunk, denying that we are christians with our actions and our words, and being fake at church. Then we are ending it with What God wants which is us to help out where we can, to show his love and to tell of his love, and to have a relationship with him, and the hows to those things. our main point is God has done so much for us why cant we do something for Him? and before all this we are talking about what Israel did like i said above. Please help!!!!

You say that Islams teach that they should kill everyone who does not believe otherwise and you said Christianity would never say something like that. You are right, it is a lot worse.

Christianity advocates the killing of rebelious children.

"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death." (Exodus 21:17) "For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he that cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him." (Leviticus 20:9)

Christianity advocates the smashing of infants against rocks.

"O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." (Psalm 137:8-9)

Christianity advocates war.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34)

Christianity advocates the murdering of woman who engage in prematital sex.

The KJV (and others) translate Gehenna, Sheoul and Hades nearly always as Hell. As far as I understand Jesus spoke about Gehenna mostly (being the burning rubbish dump outside Jerusalem) where there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hades and Sheoul are the grave (not Gehenna). What do people think Hell is? Is it eternal?

1. Have you ever stolen something? Even something little?
2. Have you ever told a lie?
3. Have you ever commited adultery with another person? Jesus said that even if you look with lust at a women or man has already commited adultery in his/her heart.
4. If God judged you by these laws would you be innocent or guilty? (IF)
5. If you are honest you know the answer (guilty) & the punishment (hell).
6. Do you know what God did for you so that you might not go to Hell?John 3:16: For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. He gave his life on the cross- the worst punishment possible at the time.
7. Does it concern you enough that if you don't know Jesus personally you will go to Hell FOREVER?
8. If your conscience is bearing witness to this then Repent (turn from wickedness) & Trust in the Saviour . . . Christ Jesus. Read Psalm 51 & use that as a model for a prayer to God.
Thank you for your time.

I'm not religious, and respect Atheist views (which are actually quite varied and deep), as much as I do religious views (for different reasons, of course). I notice that Atheists don't often get to expand beyond certain limited questions, any more than many of the religious people do. Time to shake that up. Let's add some more creativity to our questions. Help me start it off, atheists. Religious people, your questions will come in a day or so, tailored for various religions according to YOUR beliefs rather than mine or anyone elses. Thanks for your help in giving Atheists a chance to show you their own vision of what a deity SHOULD be to them (if they suspend the assumption that they don't want one, which is perfectly possible for them to do for one question. They aren't so single-minded that they can't use their imagination anymore any more than religious people are.
Shall we stretch the definitions a little folks? Go for it Atheists, give it a try...
