1 Samuel 15:-
After Saul had failed to carry out God's command utterly destroy the Amalekites, God said to Samuel, " I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king". ( 1 Sam 15:1 )

However, in 1 Sam 15:29,Samuel states that God is not a man that He should repent. How can God say that He regretted setting up Saul as king when other passages assert that God does not repent or change His mind?

Fact: For most of its history, the Mormon church said blacks were "cursed" and black Mormons (the few who actually chose to be Mormon) were forbidden from receiving their endowments and enter into Mormon Temples.

That all changed in the late 70's. Why ?

Did the US government threaten to take away the Deseret Corporation's tax exempt status(Deseret, Inc = for profit LDS subsidiary) ? Did BYU need some "skill position" players ?

And why do Mormons pretend their church was never racist ? Many Protestant Churches have acknowledged and apologized for their Racist pasts, but the Mormons ignore the large number of quotes by Brigham Young and others.

Its quite possible that they might have. Imagine someone here on earth writing the space alien's Bible. Every life form similar to ours has a creator and that creator would have a Bible for them to live by. What do you think?

Why does it anger you so much that people who believe in God and express it through their various faiths do this? If God doesn't exist, what's the big deal if people discuss Him and his works in public?

Job 19:17-
In Job 1:2, 18-19 ( cf. 8:4 ) all of Job's children were killed in a great windstorm. Yet here he speaks of his breath being "repulsive to the children of my own body".

Tell me your thoughts.

Apparently when translated from Hebrew, they mistook the word for meaning Virgin, when it fact it meant young woman. How could this then be a miraculous conception? Obviously Joseph got on the good foot and did some bad things.

This following statement is from the "Reasoning from the Scriptures" book published by Jehovah's witnesses. It is only a part of an explanation in response to people who believe that they are false prophets.

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets. They have made mistakes. Like the apostles of Jesus Christ, they have at times had some wrong expectations.—Luke 19:11; Acts 1:6.

The Scriptures provide time elements related to Christ’s presence, and Jehovah’s Witnesses have studied these with keen interest. (Luke 21:24; Dan. 4:10-17) Jesus also described a many-featured sign that would tie in with the fulfillment of time prophecies to identify the generation that would live to see the end of Satan’s wicked system of things. (Luke 21:7-36) Jehovah’s Witnesses have pointed to evidence in fulfillment of this sign.

Which reminds me!!

** Muslims have their holy day on Friday, Jews on Saturday and Christians on Sunday. Since we are all "Theists" and "people of the book" it would be nice to find a way to harmonize all three beliefs.
Aside from the obvious results of an end to religious strife, one of the most immediate benefits would be a three-day weekend!

We know no humans have ever ascended into Heaven upon their death. Is it the same with ET's? They were created by God, so they must have the same fate as us! Yes, Virginia, there are space aliens, maybe not in our universe, but in parallel universes (aka alternate universes). What's your take on this matter?
