Job 19:17-
In Job 1:2, 18-19 ( cf. 8:4 ) all of Job's children were killed in a great windstorm. Yet here he speaks of his breath being "repulsive to the children of my own body".

Tell me your thoughts.

I think that with seven sons and three daughters, including their own families, Job would have had grandchildren.
Also "blood relatives"
He had a long life, so he could have had a lot of grandcholdren and great grandchildren

All I know is that after all his suffering was over Job got back all his property, and more and he went on to have a whole bunch more kids to make up for all his sorrow(see the last couple chapters of Job).

it means his body is repulsive to children because he had sores and his breath stank seriously it talks about everyone turning from him because of this.

All of his sons were killed, he may have been talking about daughters.

He may have been hallucinating.

He may have been thinking of what his children would have done were they still alive.

He is talking of things that have already happened to him.. not things that are happening to him at the time.

God allowed him to have more.....it's as simple as that. Of course with a wife and all...it's not hard to understand really.. :)
