The Bible tells me that Heven will be here on Earth upon the return of Jesus. It also tells me there will be one final battle between Jesus and Satan. In this final battle Satan and all his followers(all not picked to be in Heven) will be "destroyed" by fire. This tells me that those not chosen will be punished by fire, but not for eternity. The way I read Revelations is that the Earth will become Heven.

I choose to believe the Bible and live my life a closly as possible to it's teachings. I don't find this difficult at all. In the Old Testement God gave Moses ten laws for the people to live by. In the New Testement when Jesus was asked what someone needs to do, to get to Heven, Jesus replied "obey my fathers laws."

When non-believers ridicule me for my beliefs, I simply reply "If you are correct and it is not true, then I had one great life following the Ten Commandments. If your wrong, which I believe you are, I might be one of the chosen."

In nature, nuthing goes to waste. Everything works in a sustainable cycle. When you die, your body will go back to the earth. I have no idea where your concious goes, but it is not necessary for us to know that, for our life on Earth.

We should take note that although we may have evolved to be the most intelligent animal, we are NOT in any sense all knowing. There is still a lot that we don't know and have yet to learn about.

There may be dimensions that we still have not explored or discovered, but surely the concept of heaven and hell that religions endorse and use to promote their concepts are purely for the intellectually challenged who would otherwise be lost especially without big flashing neon signboards saying "Do This" or "Go here" or "Say This" in their lives.

It is alright not to know about something. Anyways, there is a lot to learn and experience in this life. Why think about tommorrow's breakfast when you haven't even decided on today's lunch?? Try learning about how fabulous the Earth is. It will enrich your life if you crave for real knowledge. The Earth Sciences have come a long way and material is so readily available online and in various media. Don't be afraid to learn.

Dare to think logically and understand the systems around you.
True knowledge will ultimately benefit & enrich your present life and it might just be the only thing that you bring over to wherever you go when you die.

Heaven is a real place. It's where God and his faithful spirit family dwell. It's also the seat of God's Kingdom (government), from which Christ and chosen, faithful ones from the earth will soon rule over the earth to benefit all mankind.

There is no fiery burning hell - that's a manmade idea, not Almighty God's. The religious clergymen of Christendom have created an image of what they understand to be “hell” or “inferno” in the minds of their church people. It is a terrible image. Their long-taught idea of “hell” or “inferno” depends upon the doctrine that they teach about the human soul. They imagine that the human soul is something separate and distinct from the human body, it being spiritual and hence invisible, something that we cannot feel with our sense of touch. Common sense tells us that, if that were so, the pain of fire could not be felt, as fire is an earthly or physical element requiring our bodily senses to feel.

Pagan religions are noted for teaching red-hot hells. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, Persians, Grecians and Hindus taught flaming hells. The Buddhists teach a hell wherein people cook and sizzle in blazing kettles. Is the Bible hell as hot as the pagans paint theirs? Here is the answer.

Hell corresponds to the Hebrew Sheol and the Greek Hades. It also says that hell comes from the English word helan, meaning “to conceal.” So the early meaning of the word “hell” carried no thought of any kind of heat. It merely meant “concealed.” We have found, too, that the original Hebrew word, usually translated “hell” in English Bibles, is Sheol. Now what does Sheol mean? It simply means “a hollow place.” So the original Hebrew word perfectly corresponds with the original or early meaning of the English word “hell.”

Now that the clergy have put fire into the word “hell,” the vital question is, Did the inspired Hebrew Bible writers say that conscious life and red-hot activity exist in Sheol or hell? No, quite the opposite! Instead of blazing fire it is described as a “land of darkness.” (Job 10:21) Instead of a place of soul-chilling shrieks it is described as a place of “silence.” (Ps. 115:17) The Catholic Douay Bible, at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, says: “The living know that they shall die, but the dead know nothing more. Neither have they a reward any more: for the memory of them is forgotten. Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge, shall be in hell [Sheol, AS], whither thou art hastening.” So, since the “dead know nothing more,” or as the King James Version says, “the dead know not any thing,” it would be impossible for them to know conscious torment. And since there is no work in hell, how can there be activity, red-hot or otherwise?

Yes. There is no good reason anywhere to believe they aren't real. (nothing anyone has ever said was a compelling reason to believe their view that Heaven and Hell aren't real).

BUT, there is overwhelming evidence and reason to believe that Heaven and Hell ARE real.

Yes, they are real. (more real than life here, in fact). .

THIS (earthly life) is the dream. .

Heaven and Hell are the real world.

NO NO and NO!

Of course most of the religious fanatics here will tell you they are real.

And the truth is their existence can not be proved or disproved which puts them squarely in the realm of Philosophy...which is not science. It's just mental gymnastics.

Here is an alternate philosophy that is every bit as valid...and twice as entertaining

convinced and NO. No in the way you've self belief it to be. convinced in that you're going to experience precisely what you assume to experience. in case you assume and are terrified of "hell" you'll experience that (yet with out suffering, more suitable as a bystander) and also you need to offer up (or replace) that whenever you want. in case you assume to be interior the palms of your GOD, you'll experience that too - and also you need to replace that on each occasion (or if) you favor to. they don't look places. "Heaven" because it really is called is interior you - that is the bliss experienced interior the merger or integration of the recommendations, body and soul. that is the onesness with GOD that you're and yearn to experience once more suitable. Hell is an invention of the church homes many years in the past to scare you into believing what they say "in basic terms have self belief". "in case you do not have self belief you'll burn interior the eternal fires of hell" - quite scary stuff, yet not genuine. LOVE, Peace and elementary to all, peacefromken.

You create your own heaven and your own hell.

Stories have been told to help strengthen the controlling grip of religions.
(Those that truly believe that they will burn in hell or live forever in heaven will act accordingly here on earth).
Do what the preacher tells you to!
