Apparently only 16% of the worlds population (yes, these are questionable stats - I doubt the surveyor asked everyone!!) have no religious beliefs, and of these half still believe in a God. So it could be said only 8% of the worlds population don't believe in a God(s) (excluding Buddhists). Are you in the minority?

Okay. You are after answers and the result will move you into a direction that the majority will bend you towards. The answer is not if you beleive in God or not. Try learning what God is and your relationship to that Name. The centre of the universe is a masive expanding matter of living Plasma of which all life in spirit comes from and eventually, returns. The universe that we see and know of is only a very small part of the total expance of space. We on earth are like tea leave in the bottom of an empty cup of tea. They no of nothing elese but the bottom of the cup and what other tea leaves may have told them before the drowning in hot water. You the tea drinker knows a lot more of the picture than the tea leaves. The tea leave are the majority of people on earth. Now above our earth is an atmosphere and in the upper layers are the E F and F1 laers among others that reflect radio waves back to the earth. Lets say that the Source or center of the Univers sends a vibrating frequency to the earth and the laers filter out the enrgy allowing people's body's on the earth to connect to the Source depentant of the frequency of the filters energy. Some don't see a God while others do and some limit their ability to expand and see the reason for why life is on the earth. What choice of religion one choese depends on their up bringing and peronal choice towards beleif. God created the expance and we are a part of the master plane for total universal life. Lets say we are the washer to the bolt, the bolt is the other world and universe next to earth. Where dose the bolt and screw go? When you anuder stand your choice of directionand expand your ability to connect to the world a aliving unit rather than a form existing, then you will see we are but a small aprt of the masive expanding plasma of energy that is God.

Do you really believe that it is possible for a humankind to have no beliefs at all? I find this very hard to imagine unless that individual unit has no ability to think and/or reason. I mean either physically or by other means the individuals brain or thinking ability must be disconnected.

I say all that because I am of the opinion God, god, GODs, etc are just words or a name assigned by humankind to in some way designate something bigger or higher in a status or level that humankind. Some may not use the name or term God, god, GODs, etc but to think that a humankind did consider that he did self generate is beyond me. Now he may say I came by evolution OK. But in pure truth those who do accept evolution are only professing a religious belief and the fact that the God named "Big Bang" is their source. They can lie to themselves and the rest of the world if they like, but they can not deny the truth. Evolution say a "Big Bang" started it all.

What is more funny to me is that a confessed Athiests declares there is no God and an Agnostic says he don't know one way or another. However both declare that they have their own position and own belief as to how they came to be and not one of them will say by self generation unless of course he wants to declare a pure known falsehood. If not by self generation, what is the name of the force, entity, or cause of their very existence?

Just curious to hear the name to compare it to the definition of a god, God, GOD or Gods. You see I am always amazed at how individual humankind love to play with word in their communcations with others.

I'm an agnostic. It's a form of atheism with the difference that I don't not believe in God like a atheism. Agnostics just admit that they don't know if there is a God or if not. I found that way the best. Can't do anything wrong if your just plain honest and say you don't know. Even if there is a God he couldn't send you to hell for that and if he would send you to hell for that well i guess he isn't worth praying for then anyway.

In the beginning, God created the earth and God is the only one, the beginning and the ending of all things. No matter what you believe, before man, God made the world and all things in the world. For me, there is only One God.

Yes. Let me see. Scientist expect me to believe that we started off as single celled orgainisms that turned into a fish that crawled out of the water and turned into a squirrel that went up a tree and became a monkey and eventually after millions of years became what we see in the mirror every morning. I don't think so. Jesus Christ. Is that a bunch of crap or what? God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. Is that harder to believe than the bullshit the scientists came up with. I don't think so...

When brutally honest with myself, I think that no there isn't a God. But it leaves me feeling a little scared to think that the universe out there is empty without someone watching over us. And it seems me a little incredulous to think about the magnitude of the entire universe and think that no one is out there watching.

So it comes really to a choice, of whether or not I believe. If I choose to believe, I may be afforded some comfort. If I choose not to, I must find peace elsewhere, in things that may be easier to believe.

But God isn't about choosing whether or not to believe, nor is it about being easy to believe. So really I am undecided. But if you were to ask me simply do I believe in God? No.

Yes, i do believe in GOD. Cause if you not, can't you tell me who creates this whole world. Darwin's theory and other scientist's theory is not good enough to prove the creation process and that means one thing, THAT something have an enormous power and knowledge can create this whole world, and it is very - very beautiful. Like you. 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 mouth, 2 cheeks, and else. That so PERFECT ! So, believe in HIM.

I don't know...I certainly don't believe in a God from an organized religion..they only want money from people...?but is there a reason and a purpose behind this universe..yes, I think there is. I think that If there is a God however, that we are far too insignificant for his/her interest.
