Islam is a message for the salvation of humanity. It is to save not to destroy people. Islam is not terrorism. It is not for self revenge. It is not hate, it is love. Law of Islam is based on The Holy Quran and Sunnah. It is not what others do. There is a strict code of Law even in wars. Those Muslims who commit crimes against the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) have to face Allah T'ala one day and answer to the Almighty. We all do! There is a Day of Judgment for all mankind! Let us be truefollowers of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) !!!!
And anyways if u want to know more about Islam.....Then i m always ready !!!!!!!!!!
I m a Muslim and a true one too..............
so u can ask me if u need any help... !!!!!!
Anyways my e-mail address is moneeba_ups@hotmail.com.
And u can always send me messages on : moniba_ups@yahoo.com.
My opinions are that u must accept Islam.......!!!!

Muslims were asked to spread the knowledge of Islam. It is left up to other people if they wish to believe in it or not. But before you choose anything you should be ready to understand it properly and think for yourself. After all, God has given us a mind for us to think and differentiate what is right and wrong and then choose the right path.
Instead of looking at something with hatred, it is better to research it for yourself before jumping to conclusions based on others views.

It depends what the penalty is for not doing it... weigh up the costs and benefits - does this make it any easier?
The Muslim belief in jahannam (in Arabic: جÙÙÙ
) (similar to Hebrew ge-hinnom and resembles that of other Abrahamic religions). In the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, there are literal descriptions of the condemned in a fiery Hell, as contrasted to the garden-like Paradise enjoyed by righteous believers.

I don't know what Muslims you are talking about that have come to your door and asked you to turn Muslim.
I Muslim's job is to tell you his beliefs and it's for you to judge and see, nothing more.
Muslims have never forced others to embrace Islam nor they do now because it's simply pointless to force someone to believe what you believe. I on the other hand come across many many Christians who litrary force people to "believe Jesus as your savior or you are going to hell" almost every single day. Even here on Yahoo! Answers.

If you do it you do well for your self, and if you don't that is your choice and you are free to choose what ever you like. Your belief in Islam will not benefit Islam, and your disbelieve is not going to harm Islam it is you who will gain or lose.

you shouldn't unless you are well convinced about it , if someone is asking you to belive in islam , that is why becuase he think that he is helping you to follow the final message from God , the same God of christians and jews ... but if you are not completly convinced , don't ... it is something for you , up to you .... but i advice you to think because at thew judgment day there will be one God , one court , so it deserve from you to take it seriously a bit , and to make a real search about the right religion

Why do we need to believe in Islam? It exists.
Believing in its laws, doctrines and teaching, No, I would not recommend that.
I wouldn't recommend Christianity, either.

Study it in depth and then decide. I do not believe that it is something wrong with the religion. Rather with us people.
