I am in agreement with my brother Abdulhaq in challenging Mr. outremer7 to produce the Hadith he claims says that Jesus (peace be upon him) had those wives and children.
This type of misinformation is the kind of thing that creates divisions. The Quranic verses that deal with Jesus (pbuh) have been interpreted in two main ways by scholars throught the 14 centuries since the Quran was revealed. Neither of those interpretations indicates that Jesus (pbuh) either married or did not marry. But more importantly they have many more things in common with the Christian scripture than differences.
God granted permission for all the prophets (peace be upon them all) to marry and have children if they wished, He did not, however, command them to do so. Therefore Jesus (pbuh) according to Islam would have been well within his rights to do so, just as Abraham, Moses, David, Noah, and others before him had done. He also would have been well within his rights to not marry, and remain celibate.
The danger that you are in right now (speaking directly to the asker) is in that you are confusing reality with fiction. The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction based on speculations and misconceptions that have been around for a very long time. The fact that you connect the recent publishing of a fictional story with the way sincere people worship is ludirous.
I pray that my words have not offended anyone and ask forgiveness if they have, and God knows best.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

In Islam, Jesus (Arabic Isa) is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, and also the Messiah. Muslims, however, do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or divinity of Jesus. Islam teaches that Jesus is alive in heaven and will return to the earth as Messiah in the company of the Mahdi once the earth has become full of sin and injustice. Muslims do not believe that Jesus had children and the Da Vinci Code is fictional.

Hmm... that's a bit hard to answer but we had a study on the da vinci code at church, but I think its because no one mentioned in the bible wrote the da vinci code, so we dont believe it. I hope that helps and I'm sorry if it doesnt, its kind of hard to explain for me.

DaVinci code is purely fiction, according to the writer himself. Also, I don't know what Islam says but the Bible says that Jesus was tempted by all things a normal man would be but He did not give into the temptations. That means He was a virgin when He died. He had to remain pure to be the sacrificial Lamb for our sins.

The DaVivci Code is a fake. It's fiction. The Bible never said anything about Jesus having children. So being the Bible is God's word I believe it.

No, there is absolutely no credible evidence Christ was married or had children. The Da Vinci Code was created to make money, nothing more. If you think they told you facts, you have been deceived, my friend.

In Islam there was no mention of Jesus ( PBUH ) has ever got married, so that means he never had children. As one of the Prophets of Allah ( God ) , Jesus ( PBUH ) could have never had any children out side marriage practice.
As for MR. outremer7, I challenge you to bring the Hadeeth, or any Islamic true reference, that you put as a source. I wonder why such lies...? Shame...Shame

no islam never said jesus had children. It just said he was a man.
The reason the da vinci code isn't swaying anyone is because it is just a fictional novel.

christians think of the davinci code as a propganda against them. At the same time they believe in catholic propgandas like emily rose. Anyways, if jesus did have children it would hurt the church a lot in terms of the bible's validity.
