The bible tells us that the sacrifice for the sins of man needed to be one that was without sin. If that was Mary, why the need for Christ?

Mary took a two dove sacrifice to the temple.
If she was without sin, why did she do it?
Jesus was baptized, but it is recorder that HE didit as an EXAMPLE for us to follow.
If Mary had no sin then why was it only recorded her act of sacrifice for HER SIN, and not explained as an example for us, as it was with Christ?

The angel told Joseph not to take Mary into his bed, until AFTER the child, Christ, was born.
There existed no prohibition for the whole of their marriage.
Even in the Bible, it was recognized by Christ, that he had brothers from his mother Mary.

HOw can this doctrine be, and what purpose does it serve, seeing as how it matters not anything about Mary, but Christ?

We are told that God did not need her, that he could have raised Christ up from a stone.

Evolution from one spieces to another , there has been breeding with a Lion and A Tiger "the Ligar" but this was done by man. A polar bear with another bear but they are still in the same Family as was the big cats. If Dna will track their ancestory they still cannot detect the Foul or Beast to Man through DNa or Evolution facts to this day. My Question is what Scientific facts do the Evolutionist have? I think None

On the cross, Jesus told Mary to go with one of the disciples and it says that from that day forth she lived with him.
The Bible openly records the assumption of Christ, in front of above 500 witnesses.
If Mary went too, it should have been recorded, but it was not.
In fact there is nothing written in the firsts century, A.D. that mentions this, either secular (why would it?), nor religious.

So why did it come about and WHY did it become official doctrine, seeing that it is 100% non-biblical?

We all know the history. Kill off the Natives by giving them small pox-infested blankets, steal their land, go get slaves from Africa, separate them from their families, culture, language and everything they know and through fear and ignorance, force them to build our nation. Why would anyone want to follow a religion taught to us by such horrible people?

I always see people say "if there is a God then why is there suffering?" I mean, the way I see it, God rewards people for their suffering in this world or in the after-life. What if everyone got what they wanted? It'd be a pretty pointless existence wouldn't it? Its not like that, because this life is a TEST.. for the next world. So why do people still ask this question?

Would it not make sense and pretend someone like Walt Disney was teaching us about love and having fun and playing all the things you learn in kindergarten.

We would all learn same manners have fun laugh be kids get along and have a common religion called love. He could even bring in musical talent and our World Wide Anthem, would be Imagine by John Lennon.

The only preoblem I could see is that it may offend all the bleeping Gods and Zealots...

What do you think we got to lose kids?

Mickey Mouse plan don't you think?

People choose the "best answer" as whomever agrees with them. I have constantly seen these narrow-minded thinkers support racists and ignorance because it agrees with their views. I'm not saying I have the best answers (since I have been chosen to have none I obviously don't) but have seen answers much better than mine own (even those that disagree w/ my views) and much more intelligent. Why arent people more openminded?

The doctrine of the immaculate conception is basically this:
God, through a singular miraculous act created mary, through normal conception, without sin.

The reason was to ensure that Christ was without sin.

Why could God not have through a singular miracle, have made Christ without sin?
The bible states that sin passes from the FATHER to child, not from the mother. It is wholly unnecessary to think that Mary needed to be without sin, as her state did not affect Jesus's state of sinlessness.

This doctrine is not, in any way shope or form biblical, so why did it grow and eventually was adopted?

I there was really a great flood that covered the entire planet then the ocean's salinity would have greatly decreased. If this happened almost all life would have died out in the oceans. Today we would find the oceans of the world almost bare. How come this is not the case if there was really a great flood?

If God gave us this brain with amazing powers (yet we use only 10% of it), created us in his own "all powerful" image and we are his most complex creation, why wouldn't he want us to be knowledgable. I think the whole Garden of Eden story was created by the same church that wanted to keep its followers ignorant of corruption inside the church and the mass amounts of money preachers made off these ignorant people. They didn't even want people to learn how to read so they couldn't read the bible. And if they did learn how to read, they wanted you to get help from the church to understand it. Isn't this still going on?

This question came from the case of Dena Schlosser(the lady that cut off her baby's arms because she claimed God asked her to.) If God asked you to sacrifice your child would you do it? What if God told you, you didnt have to sacrifice your own kid, but give up your most priced possesion(superficial or nonsuperficial) instead? What would that possession be? Remember its to prove your Devotion to God.

Heres the link of the Dena Schlosser case if you havent heard of it yet:
