Yes, I do believe he actually existed. Not in the way the bible has him written however. I believe he was a mortal man and with that he had all the failings of such a being. I believe what they called miracles were actually magic that he performed. But then I am a Wiccan, and that is how I see things. Others are sure to disagree with me. Oh this I am sure. But yes Christ did exist, he is too well written in history to have not.

I believe he existed and must have been a great guy (the first Communist, according to George Bernard Shaw). I believe he was killed for political reasons, because he was in the way of the powerful. I believe he may have been taken to be someone special by the people of his time. But I don't believe he WAS special, or God's son, or anything of the sort. He was a charismatic political leader, in a particularly gullible society, who were ready to believe in anything, and to distort it, so as to make it look like a real miracle.

Jesus Christ made a big difference in my life. Before I was saved, my life had been hopeless, one of hate, fear, and introvert. He turned that all around once I acknowledged my sinful condition and asked Him into my heart. There had been many times since that He has been there for me in the absence of any of my family. On Him I depend from now until my earth life's end.

I absolutely believe in Jesus Christ. But, it really doesn't matter if you believe "in" him. I think it is a well documented fact that he existed. The question for me is, "who do you believe he is." I believe that he is the "only begotten son of God" "God in the flesh" "born of a virgin" "made in the image of man" "taking on the sins of the whole world" "suffering and dying on the cross for those sins to pay our debt to God" "being buried" and "rising again the third day so that we may have eternal life through him" and "now is seated at the right hand of God making intercession for us (being our lawyer)." Yeah, I think that about has it covered.

I do! He is my Lord and Savior, not just a prophet or wise man but God the Son the second person in the Trinity.
