Why does every religion I have ever come into contact with (don't know voodoo, hindu, or buddhists) try to make me believe what they do and get angry if I don't but at same time profess respect+love for others?

Some people on earth were created and stayed the same and will always stay the same forever and ever and ever.
Other people origin from evolution and are more evolved and continue growing and evolving into something better.

What's the big deal ? Compromising is always better, right?

How do you feel about your former religion? Were your experiences good or bad? Did it shape your current belief system in any way? Would you have come out if you liked your childhood religion better?

Me personally, the attack on evolution is why I left Christianity, and saught out the truth of God, and of course, the truth for me is there is no God.

So just wondering, when people attack evolution, has that worked, has anyone said, my gosh, your right! Genesis has it explained here so much better than all this fossil evidence, I'm going to sign up with Jesus today!@

I was raised as a Buddhist, my best friend's a Christian, i hang out with friends who's a Jew, Athiest, Catholic and my co worker is a Muslim. My sister converted into Catholic when he got married. So I've been to a lot of temples, churches, senegal, etc. I've been around a lot of religion and went into it with an open mind.

I do not believe in fully all the religions I've encountered. My belief is that there is a God that set the path for me to live. I can die early or late depends on my path. God wanted me to do good so I can be in heaven. Reality is not heaven because there's pain and suffering so you must past the test in order to be in heaven. I can do bad because I have a choice but the end result will not be good. That's what I believe in. I do not believe in repent. However, I do not read the bible because I do not believe most of the stuff in the bible. I do not believe all the magical things happened cus it's not reality to me.

What does that make me?

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.
If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the US.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most dont.

If this is the statement of truth from the All-Knowing, that "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit,
'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'", then how do the Christians justify worshipping Jesus?
There is not a single unequivocal statement throughout the Bible, in all its 66 volumes of the Protestant versions, or in the 73 volumes
of the Roman Catholic versions, where Jesus claims to be God or where he says "worship me". Nowhere does he say that he and God
Almighty "are one" and "the same person."
The last phrase above "one and the same person" tickles many a "hot-gospeller" and "Bible-thumper," Christians are programmed to
rattle off verses out of context. The words "are one" activates the mind by association of memories. "Yes", say
the Trinitarians, the worshippers of three gods in one God, and one God in three gods, "Jesus did claim to be God!" Where?
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace beupon him) is the messenger of Allah

The word "Trinity" does not exist anywhere in the whole Bible, but it is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an in the following places:

a. In Surah Nisa chapter 4 verse 171
"Say not 'Trinity': desist:
It will be better for you for
Allah is one God."
[Al-Qur'an 4:171]

b. A similar message is repeated in Surah Maidah chapter 5 verse 73
"They do blaspheme who say
Allah is one of three
In a Trinity: for there is
No god except One God.
If they desist not
From their word (of blasphemy),
Verily a grievous penalty
Will befall the blasphemers
Among them."
[Al-Qur'an 16:125]

Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah.
