you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.
If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare,
especially in the US.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most dont.

I do count my blessings for everything and for everyone : )
I also thank God for all the lessons I had to learn
And for all the lessons I am about to learn
Life can only be hard if you let
We all have choices
We all have Karma good and bad, from this life and from past lives.
I know we all have mountains to climb and once we get to the top the way to go is down, and then when we go down the only way is up and so on.
I love life and people and enjoy every moment on this earth.

Good question. Got a lot of people thinking about how blessed they really are. I am going through a hard time now...I'm filing bankruptcy, on welfare, am currently unemployed despite my college degree...BUT I have a wonderful life filled with wonderful people. Perspective is everything. People need to be more positive & focus on what they do have rather than focusing on what they don't.

Every time I think I have it bad, I always think that someone is worst off. Especially when watch the news.

It's not my fault that those million wont die sooner. Why do I have to wait a week? Their using valuable resources.
